It is 2 blocks away from the MAX stop at Pioneer Square

Yesterday's Vancouver shoot was so much fun, I can't wait for the one on the 23rd. Rain or shine, it will work. We got some great rain shots yesterday.

Is there a specific place that we are going to meet at? I'm gonna ask my dad this week if I can go, but he'll wanna know where it is...Also, if we move around, do you know about what area it will be?

Yes, we will initially meet at Director Park, which is at SW 9th & SW Taylor, at noon. If you know where Pioneer Square is, Director park is two blocks West of there (go towards Nordstrom and then keep going).

We will be at Director Park from noon to around 1pm, then we will probably walk to other locations after that. Several people have mentioned wanting to go to the Keller Fountain. That is on SW 3rd Ave and SW Clay St.

There is going to be Zombie Walk, and Thrill The World event on the 23. Just wanted to let you all know. Where it is being held is still unknown, but we might be swarmed with zombies if the shoot goes past 3:30-4pm. As far as I can tell, if they ever figure out WHERE the damn thing is going to take place, probably portland, there are going to be hundreds of people in the areas both these events are happening. Last year they did the Thrill The World at the Square.

Might want to update the first page now that we know the location we are starting at.

Yes, Zombie Walk is the same day, also downtown. I went to it last year to take pictures and it was fun. Zombie Walk photo set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tomgood/sets/72157622536288611/

If it is anything like last year, it will be very crowded and crazy, and we will need to be somewhere else by then, if our shoot is still going on. On the other hand, if we're done by then it might be fun to watch it.

I might be Zombieing it up with Savanah as Kaoru and Hikaru...But we may wait with makeup to get some photos of them before we attack with makeup.

So, we decided to do casual Halloween outfits for the twins, and then we'll be zombieing it up afterwords for the Z-walk.

If I'm not at my GF's B-day party in Gresham, I'll be here until the Zombie Walk comes around.

If I do make it, I would be Super Saiyan Goku, maybe battle damaged, and for the walk have a "hole" in my chest and back. An alternate costume would be a zombie pirate warrior, since I'm also probably meeting my Amtgard friends for the walk ourselves.

Since this is a lot more people than in my normal photo shoots, I may lose track of who I have pictures of. So if I haven't gotten photos of you, please don't be shy about letting me know.

I went by Director Park today and the leaves are starting to turn on the little trees there, it is cool.

The latest weather report that I saw says 61 degrees and 40% chance of rain. I'm hoping for clouds but no rain, or rain earlier in the day that ends by the time we start.

Yes, it will probably rain. And of course it's up to you whether or not you want to come if it's raining. But part of Director Park has a roof, and there are some other covered areas around there. It should be possible to get photos without getting too wet.
