Finding cosplays for a pattern
« on: September 20, 2010, 01:47:27 pm »
I was out today and I found this really cute coat pattern. I bought it on a whim (it was only 2 dollars) thinking that it might be good for Seras Victoria. I haven't watched or read hellsing in a few years so I got home to find that it wasn't the same at all.

The white one is the one I've fallen in love with.
I really love this coat and would love to make it but I thought it might be nice to see if there were any cosplays I could do with it as well. Also I thought that putting this pattern out there might aid someone who's been looking for something similar.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Wut? Modestly dressed female anime character?

That's pretty tough.

It's super obscure, but Sybil Rowan from big o wore something like that i think.

It wouldn't be too hard to mod it into a cross-vash coat.

Balalakia has a double breasted coat, but not so long.

Uhhh.... Darkwing duck? :3

Hm I thought you might be able to do a Galaxy Express 999 cosplay but I guess it's probably not as a close as I thought. D:  Plus, it's black.. ^^;;

P.S. The one in the middle is total baller status, yo.  I love designs and outfits like that. >__>

Personally would turn it into a sheer nightie.  I'm sure there are plenty of anime girls out there that wear something like that at some point... ^.^

i dunno if it's too late and you've already decided, but it's a lot like a coat Mireille (from Noir) wore. she wore it in a few episodes, but i had a hard time finding a pic of it. closest i could get was http://hdw.eweb4.com/out/39592.html (she's the girl with the blond hair holding the gun in case you didn't know)
2013 (in the works): Soi Fong (Bleach), Faith (Mirrors Edge), Agito/Akito (Air Gear)
Stay tuned for more information at a later date.
