(my bad its thursday the 30th @ 5pm to 8 pm)

okay today at cold stone they are giving away like it sized containers of a special flavor for free , part of a worlds largest ice cream social, the flavor kinda carmel apple was a child's make a wish

It's all coldstones according to the signs I saw the other day.

And not coming in here to hate at all, since I can see why some people think it's good but I feel like I'm the only person who dislikes coldstone icecream >:

They have 1 thing that makes me love them so much....CAKE BATTER ICE CREAM! I am not one for sweets at all...but I can't help it with that stuff, it's like a drug for me. Also, I think they make better cakes than Dairy Queen...not to rich & not too bland, just the right blend.

I am on a budget so free works for me. They also have an online club that gets you a free "like it" creation for your birthday, i like that you can sign up your family for it on one account . Also if you sign up with noodle express and claim jumper they will give you a free entree for your birthday. And red robin and ruby tuesday will give you a free birthday burger

Nice, free ice cream. Seems like a lot of you don't like sweets, that is too bad. Only thing I don't like about sweets is what gets put into most of if. Other then that I've nothing against sweets for the sake of being sweet. I also loves me some ice cream. ^.^

I only like cold stone because of the Cotton candy ice cream. That is the only thing I get when I go. ONLY THING. With sprinkles mixed in.

Yeah on July 11th or 7-11, every year they give away free 7.11 oz slurpees they are pretty tiny but free is free and when I live close to 3 its easy to loop and hit 3 within 15 mins

I hate that too...it always seems when I find a flavor I really like, they take it away. I heard rumor that they might be getting rid of cake batter flavor...I think I would cry.

Ironically I just got free ice cream there yesterday...they have a promo where if you sign up on their website you get a free mini scoop with one topping for your bday.

I had mine be split between cake batter & apple pie and the topping: raspberries (fresh). Scrumptuous.

Welp, it's today and I'll be going. Gonna try to drag my family with me. Maybe I'll see some of you Springfield/Eugene people. I'm going to Oakway Center; that's the closest to us.

I'm also not used to this area being called "central Oregon." We usually just call it Lane County. Though I am aware that technically that extends all the way to Florence...

I was going to go to the one on 82nd but I've already biked today, and I kinda don't want to bike all the way out just for a free sample. My sis just got an ice cream maker and I've been wanting to try that out first before I buy any more. Unless more people wanted to hang out at the one I was planing on going to, I don't think it will be worth it to go

If it was apple pie flavor only that would be cool too. It would be like having apple pie and ice cream at the same time. That's the way I like my apple pie, warm and topped with nice cold vanilla ice cream. Putting them together only seems logical.

It was apple pie, not caramel apple? Hmmm.

I didn't have anyone to go with so I skipped it, but it's just as well. I don't mind paying for my ice cream to get my pick of flavors and not have to wait in line.

Well, that's the thing... WARM apple pie. You combine it with the ice cream and you don't have anything warm, so, eh.

I use ice cream to cool it because the pie is too hot out of the oven. This way I get a nice room temperature-ish food. I'm not sure if it does anything else for me, I've not had the two together sense probably Thanksgiving.

Makes sense. I do the same except I greatly prefer pumpkin pie.

OMG me too! Apple might be good and all, but if I had to chose (especially with the thanksgiving season approaching) it would so be pumpkin. All around its my favorite, even if it might not be my first pick when it comes to sweetness or blends of flavor.

My main issue is that I don't really like apple pie; I have to be in the mood for it. Plus, I had apple pie during Sukkot; I had my fill.

Pumpkin is the only vegetable I know to ever get its own flavor of milkshake.

While most people consider a pumpkin to be a vegetable, as radien said, in biology a pumpkin would be a fruit. This is because fruits are considered to be the area of a plant (or whole thing?) that produce a seed. A pumpkin is basically one big seed ball. A vegetable on the other hand, would be a plant that is just roughage or does not reproduce through seed. Potato for example is more of bulb and sprouts outward to make more of itself.

(Don't hate me if I said something wrong, I cant remember exactly how everything was explained last time I read about it.) Most things we eat are probably called the wrong thing, like peas. Not a veg.
