Wig Styling
« on: October 03, 2010, 08:12:59 pm »
Alright, so this will be my first adventure in the realm of wig styling and I would like some help.

I need to spike a short ponytail into the style Misty (Poke`mon) wears.
What products do you guys recommend for this gravity defying ponytail?

I usually have pretty good luck with several got2b products. You can usually find quite a few in several stores (Rite Aid and Fred Meyer for instance.)
Kumoricon 2013:
Neophyte Redglare- Homestuck
Madame de Pompadour- Le Chevalier D'Eon

Wire...? O.o

And will this keep the pony tail looking like the rest of the wig? Or will it make it look all weird?

You have to hide it inside the hair.
But it will support your wig more.
(its how I did my Miki cowlick)

Garnier Fruticis Style Super Stiff Gel would be good for under the ponytail holder. As as support for the wire on the inside.

Thanks for this thread! Even though you guys weren't posting for me, you gave me a lot of ideas on how to do my Leona wig.
