Fall 2010 Season: What are ya'll watching?

With the Season just coming into swing I'm wondering what you all are going to be watching.


For me it's Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, Star Driver. Those two are for sure. I may keep on watching Iron Man, if it starts to improve.

Thank you for posting that list. I do not have cable & had not seen this list, & it could help me guide Wuntvor in what to show at Eugene's Anime Friday! So far this season what he has shown with which I've fallen in love: Literature Girl (film & 2 OVAs) & Time of Eve.

From your list: I tend to like gender comedy, so I'd try Kuragehime. I'd be curious what they do w/Iron Man & the whole 4-part Marvel/Madhouse overlay....
I find the premise of The World G-d Only Knows somewhat disturbing.
I'd like to see Soro no Otoshimoro, as I am always interested in pacifist characters (as evidenced by my screen name). MM! seems a very adult premise...? curious? Panty & Stocking sounds cute. I *shame* still have yet to see Axis Powers Hetalia, so that's a must when I can get it. Psychic Detective interests me from the perspective of the Religion in Anime & Manga panel, wherein we have discussed characters akin to Yiddishkeit Dybbuks & varying concepts of what Purgatory as a location or a state of being would be like and how one could be freed from it, by what actions or liberator....

Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt- Love the style and kinda like the humor. Reminds me of dead leaves and my boyfriend and I love that.

Gonna try out Kuragehime when it comes out. It looks kinda cute. We'll see how it is.

So far all I've had time to view was Too Cute to be my sister, or however that goes. Seems like a Kyoto animation production. Haven't verified that yet. I've been collecting some, for when I have time, and the ability to keep awake after I get home...

Waiting for Index II to get done up by someone. I think I look forward to this the most.

I'm still trying to finish Kuroshitsuji, but after that i plan on starting to watch Soul eater (a friend of mine told me that i'd like it...guess i'll find that out for myself). Also, i'm trying to watch as many horror movies as possible (i know it's not anime, but i do that every October. Hell, i'm planning on watching one tonight).

So far I lovvvve Iron Man (of course lol) and Panty & Stocking~

I might start Star Diver or that Reverse thing. They look cool~

Bumping this with my reviews so far this season. Ordered in from what I liked best to the least.

Arakawa Under the BridgexBridge- Sososososo good, same feel of last season but it's not boring. They are also starting to dive into some crazy plot stuff and back story like they did with Hoshi last season. It's hilarious, romantic (RicxNino are my OTP <3), and intense at points. I love it so much, it's really an anime for me~

Kuragehime- I kinda was EH about it after I got stuck in my shows this season, BUT DAMN AM I GLAD A FRIEND REMINDED ME TO WATCH IT. It's really good and funny. It's also got some cute love triangles going on now. It's like....a mixture between Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge and Kimi Ni Todoke. But crazier. Plus jellyfish, yes please.

Panty and Stocking- Love the style, love the music. It's pretty good. Some of the episodes are boring though. There have been like, 2 of them where I just didn't even pay attention because I thought they were stupid. But besides that it's pretty damn good and I love all of the american references.

Shinryuki! Ika Musume- Fun and stupid. I like it MOAR SEA CREATURES. It's like this season everyone wanted to appease me with marine life *A* Yeah, moe blob stupid stuff but I dig it.

Bakuman- DROPPING. It's good, just not in anime format. I'm probably going to start reading it. Opening song is terrible, not that that matters.

My little sister can't be this cute- DROPPED IT, FOREVER, NEVER AGAIN. TERRIBLE. /a/ recommended it. So dumb. I had a problem getting through the first episode. Just more cliche stuff. After it got all creepy incestual "I grabbed my sisters boobs" the little shred of I'll try to get through this....it's just gone. Never again, I hate this incest, harem bullcrap.

Certain manga-kas seem to be on a "let's outdo each other in how contrived we can make our 'oops, but it's not really sex' scenes between siblings" kick lately. Not kidding, the only thing left now is for their clothes to accidentally fly off as they trip and land on each other, so that his %#&*$ accidentally gets ${~<! in her ^@>*&@, then he accidentally keeps %~?%ing her until they both }[>@$? multiple times.

Then they'll feel really guilty about it later... but not guilty enough to keep it from happening again. Accidentally. Xb

I highly suggest it. And it starts getting super cute around like, episode 3. It was like "Oh this is pretty entertaining....OH LAAAAAAAAWD"

And I really hate that kind of stuff so I probably will. I just heard that despite all the imouto stuff it was still a decent anime, which I kind of have to disagree. That's all it really has going for it. But yeah, it's pretty bad. Not as bad as KissxSis though ._. Never watched it, but screencaps were enough for me. Then again that was like half a step away from being hentai.

You didn't miss much. I made the mistake of thinking "Kiss X Sis" sounded like a cute title, and would therefore be lighter on the porn than other titles in the same genre. Biiiig mistake. I dunno about the anime, but the manga was... yeah. Big, big mistake. Xb
