I don't think it's possible to flex too hard or too much. If you don't have the muscle to back it up, just keep flexing and someday, eventually, from all your continued flexing, you will have flexed yourself TOUGH. And personally I feel that if you're not injuring someone near you whenever you flex, you're not doing it right. TOUGHNESS NEEDS TO BE FELT BY EVERYONE.

Maybe if you pushed that quarter so far through the ground it passed through the Earth's crust, through the molten core, came out the other side and decapitated a dragon.

I did that once except it wasn't a quarter it was a half dollar, and it wasn't the earth it was a sewer grate, and it wasn't a dragon it was a dead fish.

I deserve a place among the gods of toughness. I've taken shots to the groin by people with foam sticks for 4 years now and each time I shrug it off like it's nothing. The sticks may be softly padded but the mass of the object is still there. Someone swinging a steel chair and someone swinging a pillow have different hardness in the objects, but the force of impact could still be felt.

But hey, if I'm not tuff enuff, then that means too secksy for this topic.  8)

I'm so tough that I find most horror movies boring compared to gritty and graphic war and action films, and I don't shed tears during a funeral. Though there is a difference between being tough and emotionless, and being completely heartless. Yet deep inside my passion is fierce, the magma heart that keeps this mountain of a body solid and strong against the winds and earthquakes of life.

I'm so tough I'm gonna say "Hey Arrison watch that language there."

Seriously.  I understand you're not being offensive about it but it is outside of Kumoricon's "family-friendly" language policy.  Just a heads up.  I won't take any action since editing would ruin the context of the conversation and removing it would be excessive since it's kind of borderline anyway, but do try to keep the language here G-rated.

Hmmm...

One time I was running outside at night & didn't know there was a barb-wire fence in the distance until I hit it & my entire body was thrown back like it was a big slingshot. Bleeding & torn clothes, I got up & continued on what I was doing.

I once fell backwards all the way down the stairs to a basement(in a very old house with long, splintery old stairs), hitting the concrete at the bottom & didn't even spill a drop of my full beer. My friends came running to see if I was ok & all they found was me scrunched into an awkward position, road rashed & cut up, laughing & starting the first sips on my refreshing drink.

I once shattered my middle toe right before hosting a huge 4th of July BBQ & went on as planned as it swelled up to 4 times it's size.

More recently...I took a face-first dive to the sidewalk with another person's weight landing on the back of my head. Fractured 4 bones that make up the orbital structure under my right eye as well as the sinus wall, & pinched nerve under my cheek bone(that was also pushed out of place)....got up & continued the rest of the 2 mile walk home, bleeding heavily the whole way(the underside of my chin was split clean open). Went to work the next 3 days without even knowing I had broke anything until all of the sudden everything swelled up & my eye turned black as the midnight sky...3 DAYS AFTER THE FACT.

To end my rant...just this last week during hunting season, I stood 50 ft. away from a large female grizzly bear looking me right in the eyes & scared her off even though I was between her & her cubs(which is a HUGE no-no).

I'm so tough I eat frosted mini wheats for breakfast! 9 grains and 17 vitamins and part of a balanced breakfast. This gave me the tuffness to create the "holla-bill" I also own a TUFF-shed. And I beat it in a fight.

Did you know that tough used to be spelled tuff?  It's not anymore.  Do you know why?  There's a story:

So one day, I was walking along, and some guy said to me, "Hey, you look pretty tuff!"
"Yeah, I am," I said, while eating a sandwich made of barbed wire and knives.
"If you're so tuff, you should enter the Tuff Tournament for Tuff Guys," the stranger said.
"Word," I responded solemnly, then something behind me exploded.  I'm not sure what it was, because I didn't look at it.

I began a rigorous hourly training routine that evening.  I won't get into the nitty gritty details, but it involved a grizzly bear, two bengal tigers, a large cage that was almost as tuff as I was, and my fists.  Since I trained for about 90 minutes per hour, I actually had to slow down time in order to fulfill my entire training routine every hour.  That wasn't a problem though, because whereas most people are 70% water, I'm 70% diamonds, and I sweat uranium, so the extreme density of my body composition causes a quantum lag in the passage of time that makes everything around me occur at about half speed.  I'm kind of like a black hole but a lot more attractive.

Well, the day of the tournament came around and it turned out that guy was just pulling my leg.  Since me and my gratuitous amounts of tuffness were the only viable competitors that showed up, I fought tuffness itself.  And won.  Not only did I win, but I won so hard that every time it shows its face in public, it says "ugh", remembering how brutally I defeated it.  So now it's spelled tough, because yeah, I'm tougher than phonetics, and I'm a lot tougher than a car door.

I'm so tough I once went cannal boating in England.

Before anybody scoffs let me explain something. When canal boating in England there are absolutely no automated bridges or canal locks, everything has to be opened manually So Yeah i opened 3 bridges and 16 locks by hand,

This not only shows I'm tough but it also shows anyone who thinks canal boating in England is for sissies is a fool.

Broke a rib at the Epica show last night during Agonist's set.  Took a break to catch my breathe then kept moshing until I realized something was broken, at which point I decided it would be a good idea to take it easy for a while and contented myself with headbanging and screaming for the remainder of the night. :P

1) I made an AMV using a real .50cal machinegun to blow up 11 plushies of certain obnoxious anime characters, each filled with at least 1/2 pound charges of ammonium nitrate - the same stuff Timothy McVeigh used to blow up a federal building in Oklahoma City, 1995.
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=41471

2) Tough also includes freedom from concern for the environment. This planet is given to us to use to our benefit. That's why men invented TNT for mining, dredging vessels heavier than WW2 battleships, and large machines like bucket-wheel excavators:

Real men are not friends with nature, we dominate and rule it. Ever watch a boy in the rain pause before a puddle, then jump right in with both feet? Now THAT's how you stomp a carbon footprint.
I don't have a bucket wheel excavator but I do have a coal-fired melting furnace for hobby castings, and when I fire it up to melt metal it smokes and smells like an old diesel truck with no rings left, and on a good afternoon I can probably cancel out 150 MAX-riding vegan greenie-weenies.
