Well, 18th is kind of close to Christmas (which in my opinion is more 'family get together' like than Thanksgiving, plus it might be even harder to get placed once it gets closer to Christmas) and December 11th is my friend's birthday party and the day after that is my birthday party so my parents wouldn't want to drive me to portland two days in a row anyway...so i still vote with sometime in later November.

we should all put up the dates we are going to busy during winter break and thanksgiving just so we can go in between or after or when we all will be bored....

That's a good idea/ We should post days we are busy. And worse comes to worse we could started it later in the day.

Ummm... I like the sound of Thanksgiving break. It would give us some exercise off that turkey (or tofurkey). Plus it would not be too cold by then. If the weather goes the way it is, it wouldn't be that cold at all.

I think I'm free both of the dates that were suggested by Amanda.
Though, sorry Kai, but I just think it's going to be too cold and risk of snow that late in December...
And I know my mom would yell at me if she knew I was outside in freezing weather -___-

Well, i don't think you really NEED to get you're cosplay done asap. I mean, we're having another Y/Y picnic next spring...Hell, we could probably have another winter one in January or Febuary ^^ It's just a suggestion. I mean, I would have loved to go as Usagi to this, but i know i'm not going to get my wig/costume untill late December or sometime in January.

Also, conserning the date of this. I would just like people to know, as i said before, We're having another Y/Y picnic in Spring and i have no doubts that more people will show up to the one in Spring (because of the lack of coldness and Hollidays). So if people can't show up to this one, they will have another, warmer one to look forward too ^^

Also, i really hope i didn't sound rude...^^;;;

As people have pointed out there are going to be more then just this ONE! I think we could make three happen though out the year or maybe if we are lucky 4.... But Winter, Spring and Summer are the seasons that easier to plan around well it is the times we start missing one another....

BUT if we are doing it in November we need to set a DATE asap!
