Once I find one, Sora, it's all yours.

Sorry can't edit from my phone but yes.
I know how that is Dx

I am also excited to know how your Tiptoe Through the TARDIS panel goes.
Serious excitement.
I wish I could be there D:

I HAVE REACHED A DILEMMA.
I want to do a NuWho cosplay (one that isn't half-assed like Jack was, not to mention I'm not masculine enough to pull of Jack anyways Dx), and it has boiled down between these two:

The Master or Rory
Both would be easy, and both I would use my real hair for (I'd dye it and cut it accordingly. My hair grows fast enough that it wouldn't really be a problem, and I could re-hawk it in a couple of months.
YOU GUYS DECIDE.
Reference pictures of me
I'm pretty sure you guys just ODed on my ugly face >>

Which ep's Master would you be? If you go Rory, do you have an Amy?

I have two Amys xD
And I would do The Master from The End of Time.

This is really off topic, but I need to post this somewhere that Aine will see it.
Maybe I'll bring pom poms just for the hell of it.

AND IT'LL BE GREAT

I want a Two ;x;

But that'll never happennnn

Not to mention that it's impossible for the same person to be able to cosplay Fang AND Two, and I want someone to do both. xD
HEY LOOK.

So you already know that I really want you to somehow pull off a centurion!Rory because I want to do a copper!Amy and because that special was the best special ever specialled and GODDAMN IT DOCTOR WHO STOP HIRING THE CUTEST CHILD ACTORS IN BRITAIN. /seriously though, Kazran was so cute I almost died. And I don't even like children!

Um I'm sure there's something smart that I could say at some point, but there isn't really. I got to see the Doctor Who special ON CHRISTMAS which was SO exciting, and then me and my sister promptly wrote another Trock song (actually, she wrote it that morning, and I finished it up that afternoon following my instrumentation of her lyrics for a song she wrote a while back which I gave her for Christmas yesterday soooo).

Um. Yeah, I keep just coming in here and saying stupid things, don't I? And I don't even have my gif storage with me to lighten it up this time... Ack, not at my computer right now. /also definitely listening to Jennyrated Anomally right now... that song is so prettyyyy

Thepiratebay and bittorent are your friend, woman. Friggin' go for it.

SPEAKING OF THE SPECIAL I have a sudden slightly inexplicable urge to cosplay Abigail. I'd want a Kazran if I ever did though.

So this person I accidentally met online like last night happens to work with liquid latex and might be able to fashion me an Ood mask. That. Would. Rule. She said she'll let me know sometime between now & spring. Rockin. I'd suit up as Ood Sigma.

There is a somewhat expensive prefab mask I am considering buying that is Dalek Sek Hybrid from Daleks in Manhattan. This will depend on how things go with my job in the next month or two.

Speaking of Daleks, next up in my Netflix queue is the 1st disc of Genesis of the Daleks. 4/Sarah Jane/Davros. Having seen The Stolen Earth/Journey's End it will be fascinating to see how Sarah Jane has or hasn't changed and what's different across the Davros's. It will also be only my 2nd time seeing a classic ep (the first being the first 2 of 4 parts of the pilot, An Unearthly Child).

Vevet is devil fabric. Also, never buy the Laughing Moon frock coat pattern. It's missing a back piece and I had to make my own. It's all cool now, but this coat is making me want to kill the costumer from that bloody movie. If I ever meet them, oh the things I might end up saying...

Oh, and I'm in the process of writing a Trock song! Hope you lot don't mind country music.

It doesn't quite have a tune yet. Or music. I'm synthing it because I cannot play a single instrument to save my life. But I have corny country music lyrics and hopefully I'll have a song when this arduous project is over.

Screw loafers. For Sakuracon I don't care if I nearly freeze my toes off, I'm wearing sandals and a toe tag. My feet hurt so bloody bad.

Good news is though, I now know exactly what I have to fix and otherwise accomplish with my Eight costume before Sakuracon.

Yaaaaaay~

But wouldn't they then try to change everyone's feet to look like Ritchie's? ;)

It was AWESOME having you there, Ritchie. Your handmade waistcoat & cravat (spelling?) were gorgeous. You're a great road-trip companion. And a fun and savvy co-panelist.

Our Tiptoe Through the TARDIS panel at MEW was FANTASTIC. We had at least 25 people there, and were having so much fun our 45-minute panel became 75-minute one! Karen & Robert brought Time Con memorabilia, a Cyberman action figure, and totally surprised us by having remote-control Daleks invade from the back of the room (seriously I jaw-dropped). We had a Rose from Empty Child cosplayer copanelist (a gal I met at our Ory panel, Kate). And an ADORABLE 11/Copper!Amy pair who graciously posed. I debuted one of my new Whovian filks, we heard Barrowman's The Doctor & I, shared trivia, memories, hopes, shudders, jokes, line recitations......I could spend a whole con doing this....Yeah.

@ Bend, the head of my SCA household is in Bend and is a Whovian, I will ask if he ever cosplays from it.

*nod* Oh, of the panel? I facilitated. I ran it as a meetup, not a workshop. More like a lively free-for-all, celebrating our favorite moments of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff.

* keeping fingers crossed * Let's just hope we can get approved by Jaki. Definitely we'll have a Tiptoe Through the TARDIS at OryCon, possibly other cons.

Sometime before the January meeting, I'll write up the equivalent of a panel form/ event description (probably using bits of the ones from OryCon and MEW Con). I will run it by here for folks' approval. I'll list myself as convenor and AFAIK will list the following as co-panelists: Karen Black & Robert Plamondon (Creation Station crew who've now done this with me twice), Richie & Soundy. More as it evolves.

I'm really having to think about which cosplay I'll do at KC. I had decided I was going to buy the Dalek Sek hybrid mask and get a close-enough suit /shirt /tie at some thrift. But then it was so.friggin.warm at MEW that I thought, I need to find a costume that is short-sleeved or sleeveless, in case it's this warm at KC. So. Hrm.

So the only picture I have of me in my 8th Doctor outfit involves a mildly frightened expression, and I'm not too sure why. Also my collar is doing funny things. Well, there's another picture, but it's of me working on a computer at the panel and I'm not actually looking at the photographer.

I look like someone's just said something off-color and it's hilarious-looking.

I'm freakin' proud of that scarf. I wear it everywhere. The photographer caught me just as I came in the doors, and it was like 28 degrees outside so I was wearing it. I asked him if he wanted me to take it off 'cause I wasn't Four, but he said no so I just went with it.

SO I JUST ORDERED TROCK ON.
Yup.
That's it.

Also: When I listen to loud music and don't focus on other things, I get a really bad headache can hear drums my heart beating in my ears.
Which happened while I was listening to 'The Sound of Drums'
I laughed kind of hard.
But I had a headache.
So I didn't laugh that hard.

EDIT:
A 4/8 time crash would be really interesting.
I'm not sure how either would react o.o

Best CD ever, methinks.

Just brought my sewing machine back from my dad's, so I ought to be able to finish my coat this weekend and have it for the shoot on the 15th. Hopefully.

Eager to see all those, when not on web via phone. Any Time Crash would intrigue me. I liked the Turn Left songs on Trock On & hope 2 hear the rest. Love that ep; cosplayed (my take on) Gwyneth and my oh my yes I will always have in lovedness for 9.
