"Doctor, why do you wear a stick of celery on your lapel?"
"Why, does it offend you?"
"No, just curious"
"Safety precaution. I'm allergic to certain gasses in the praxis range of the spectrum"
"Well, how does the celery help?"
"If the gas is present, the celery turns purple."
"And then what do you do?"
"I eat the celery. If nothing else, I'm sure it's good for my teeth"

Peri and Five <3

Yes, DO IT! Now....

OH BTW, The 5th Doctor is on my final list, so I'll finnish him no matter what. And now that I have a Teagan and a Turlough, I have even more motivation to get him done! I FEEL SO AWESOME, YOU GUYS.

Oh and just to add to my awesome - meter I'll be useing real celery, and replaceing it every so often when it starts looking yuckie. And be useing my real hair. c:

WE WILL BE THE BEST
IT WILL BE AMAZING AND THE WORLD WILL BOW. :D

...'Scuse me while I indulge my inner Five-era fangirl over here. TURLOYGHTURLOUGHTURLOUGHTURLOUGH.

Ahem.

On a more relevant note, I'm having a bit of trouble deciding which version of Susan to go with, so is there any costume of hers that you guys think of as particularly iconic/that you really associate with her?
I really can't think of any... Have you already got things for it? If so, I'd choose the one you have the most stuff for.

Well, I've got black capris, which she wears pretty often. I'm thinking to get a striped shirt like I've seen in a few screencaps, but I can't find which episode she wore that in...

KinkyFriedChicken - I believe insufficientmemory is doing Five too, so there can be doubles~

I am so excited for this meet up.

QUESTION: Is it going to be more of a meet up, or a photoshoot?
Because I, personally, am hoping for more of a photoshoot.

Edit: Just looked at the first post again and...SOUNDY. LUKE SMITH. YEEEESSSSS. I've been looking for cosplays of him for ages.

Watching the very earliest eps is so fascinating to me. The quirkiness and cantakerousness of 1 is certainly more visible in 9 than 10. Is it ever specifically explained in canon why regenerations are getting younger? I'm curious if more of the family members are ever present or what ends up happening to Susan. Ian is growing on me. It's fun seeing certain things explained that I'd never considered (such as the machine that makes what looks like candy bars that taste like whatever is requested, e.g., "bacon and eggs"). I did LOL at the first sight of a Dalek being the obvious toilet plunger, eliciting a scream from Barbara, but I'm quite sure if it were 1963 I would've been scared, too.

Just wanted to say, that while Sam and I were stalking the aisles of Fred Meyers, by my house, we found Jelly Babies.
We both had a bit of an AWESOME ATTACK when we saw them. And then I grew sad, when I found out that I only had
$2.53, while the Jelly Babies cost $5.19.

Just wanted to let all you beautiful people in on this.
I have a picture of them, but my cellphone is being durpy and won't send it to my e-mail. >.e

THEY ARE REALLY REALLY YUMMY.

Eight!

Speaking of Eight, I have decided I love him a lot and he is in my top three now (probably third, but that's still close to the top).
I also really really like Charley Pollard, and she is inching her way to the top of my Companions list.

I'LL JUST LEAVE THIS HERE:

R.I.P. Elizabeth Sladden.
Of all the classic Who I've encountered so far (eps with 1 & 4, CD book with 3, comics with 2), my favorite is Genesis of the Daleks because of her.

Haven't seen SJA yet, but will soon, courtesy of Netflix.

Considering getting cable to get BBC America & Starz (for TW) while there's a 19.99 Comcast sale....unless full eps are viewable online free?

SJA is great. I think it's my favorite spinoff. TW has some episodes that just blow me away (Random Shoes comes to mind), but SJA is just consistently fantastic.

I'm still having trouble accepting that she's gone.

I'm not sure if anyone can understand how much of a hero Elisabeth Sladen was to me. She was everything I've always wanted to be.
But could we not talk about it on this forum? I feel like a public forum isn't the place to talk about the passing of the woman I've idolized since I was a small child.

Indeed her loss was widely felt across the world.

Oh and i'll be at Kumori this year as the 3rd Doctor. He's always been my favorite Dr and I emceed late night and sunday's cosplay chess games at Sakuracon as him.

No worries, It's really cool for you to be Jo with your father. I sometimes cosplay with my niece and it's really fun.

I'll be wearing the 3rd Doctors red jacket instead of some of his black or other coloured jackets. I'll keep an eye out for my other selves at con  ;)

I believe I will be a Weeping Angel. >:3 Then I will creep on people. I LOVE CREEPING ON PEOPLE.

I'm actually fairly new to the Doctor Who fandom. :) One of my roommates got me hooked about a month back, and since then I've watched all of series 5 and caught up with the current airings. I've also watched a bit of the 3rd, 9th, and of course 10th Doctors, but I'd really like to watch at least a little of each of all of them... Hopefully I will do so this summer between class, work, and costume-making.

There is definitely going to be a Tiptoe Through the TARDIS panel for OryCon.
How much enthusiasm is there, still, for proposing one for KC?

If there is, who would like to be among the panelists, what times would work for you, how long would you envision requesting (hour?), and what other panels/contests/events are you either running, or participating in, such that the panel shouldn't occur at the same time (unless in a parallel universe, I suppose)?

Are any of you coming to OryCon, that you would like to be part of that panel in Creation Station, which was standing-room-only?

BTW: Loved Idris; new dream cosplay.

I may come to Orycon, and I'll definitely attend if I do. But a DW panel at Kcon sounds like a great idea, there's obviously a fair bit of interest here. XD

Any time works for me, pretty much, as long as it doesn't overlap with the Sailor Moon panel or directly after since that's when we might do the photoshoot.

I would definitely attend a DW panel if I don't have something else going on at the same time, but don't think I'd participate as a panelist. Sadly I'm not as versed in the DW 'verse to be of much help at a panel.

I had a blast at the Who panel at MEW, I'd love to help out if you had one at Kumo!
Fan*tas*tic!
(Of course, we don't know if Jaki will have room for another panel, but we can try.)
I just need to hear from you whether there are any panels, events, or contests you can't miss, so that we wouldn't be scheduled concurrently...unless you want to send one of your Gangers in your place....
Okay, now I really want to see someone cosplaying a Ganger! Or have 2 people dressed up exactly the same, but one be Ganger-y. That would be freaking awesome!

Madame Vastra is definitely on my list of pipe-dream cosplays... Silurians are so flippin cool! Add in some Victorian England, crime-fighting and samurai swords, and I think my head just blew up a little. x3

I'm currently working on two doctor who cosplays. A gold dalek and a female version of the tenth doctor. So, I don't know which one to wear but I will wear both~

One outside of con, or inside of con?
Because I dunno about outside of con, but we're definitely having one in con :3
Next con: Kumoricon
Make sure to pop in to the Tiptoe Through the TARDIS panel this year.

Inside.
Because there's no information about it on the first page. Which day, time and location?
