What shows so entrance you that you let no one interrupt your viewing of them? For me historically it was Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Lost, Gilmore Girls. Now it's Big Bang Theory, Castle, Glee, Supernatural (when I'm home for it), Doctor Who and Torchwood. The only anime I felt that way about were Trigun, Hellsing, Cowboy Bebop, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and now, Princess Tutu.

I loved Amber Tamblyn back when she was Emily Quartermaine on General Hospital, even before she was briefly on Buffy. And I loved Joan of Arcadia, her costar from which now stars on The Event. J of A I would watch with a pal and chat about on commercials. The Event is trying hard for the Lost audience but I am not fully won over by it. Doctor Who, I only have watched on the net and DVD as I don't have cable. But it's definitely in the category that I don't want to miss a frame.

For me it's mainly Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother, because nowadays those are the two main TV shows I've been watching.
Anything anime-related is hands down for not being bothered, especially when season two of FMA:Brotherhood starts up in a few weeks or so ^.^;

Wow, I haven't seen any of those 3. Maybe I really am missing out by not having cable. As for HIMYM I love that they have an out, married, parenting gay man play the womanizer. To me that feels like meta commentary. I always meant to watch it, as I remain a huge Alyson Hannigan fan, but so far I've only seen "Nothing Suits Me Like a Suit".

The Office is definitely my biggest "Do not disturb" show. Nobody disturbs my Dwight time. :B The other shows I'd have to say are The Big Bang Theory, Lost (When it was still on. May God have mercy on your soul if you disturbed Lost time.), and Starsky & Hutch (On DVD of course. My Starsky time is sacred.).

One of the reasons I ultimately had an ex move out was he would only let me watch 1 show a week (which, of course, was Lost) AND would only let me have it on silent, reading closed captioning. When I later read transcriptions and found out how much dialogue I was missing, I rebelled.

Haven't seen Caprica, but many of the best shows are cancelled way too early *coughFireflycough*. As I felt that way about Dirty Sexy Money, a moment of silence for its matriarch, Jill Clayburgh, R.I.P.

Guy, our AMV pro, in addition to his panels in Creation Station, AMV Clinic and Intro to Anime: Sci-Fi & Fantasy, is on a panel of punsters for "groan-ups" ;-). As for aromatherapy, I grow my own English and Spanish lavendar (just harvested some today), flowering rosemary, and lemon balm.

^ Yaaaay! We Creation Station kin will be in the Washington Room of the Executive Meeting Center all weekend,@ KC 2005 & 2008's hotel. We're also having a Doctor Who celebration, new panels on making swords, corsets, & cast iron, stand-up comedy, Erotic Bedtime Stories (18+ open mic), fantasy art, crafts, making SCA clothes, Lovecraft films, and more! It's my favorite CS crew ever (15 folks, all good personal friends of mine outside of the CS) & my favorite panel line-up of all time. Hope to see many of you there! Oh as for this thread, here's my "panel edition": If I could only be on 1 panel a year, it'd be Guy's Religion in Anime & Manga panel. On it 5 or 6 years now. Definitely a DND!

I find that some of the shows that are my most do-not-disturb for new eps, are the shows for which I like to give backstory when people are watching them with me when I'm rewatching them. (Supernatural & Firefly come to mind.)
