Steampunk Film Fest, Feb. 13, Clinton St., PDX

A Steampunk Film Festival will be held the Sunday of Valentine's weekend at Portland's Clinton St. Theater. It is founded and managed by Stephen Couchman, who runs Creation Station's Print is Undead panel (our Orycon CS panel about how to start and publish an offline newspaper; his was the goth community journal, The Portland Outsider). I am very excited for this, as the audience's attire will be a sumptuous visual feast. I believe it would be a great place for Kumoricon to have an outreach table. Once Stephen has formalized how anything like that would be available for events and vendors, I will post information here or be sure someone else does. :)
If anyone is connected to or wants to recommend any Steampunk features or fan films, let me know, and I will gladly forward the information to Stephen (as I don't think he's on these forums).
Meantime I'm hoping to find, have made for me, or learn how to make a burgandy corset to go with my green and burgandy (replica) Edwardian Walking Suit for this....oh yeah. What will you wear? Photos more than welcome....

I'm assuming there will be a charge for admission, but probably pretty low, maybe the same as a regular movie ticket.

Just found out there are already a couple feature and short films lined up from a couple countries. There is a way to make a pledge in advance, to get perks with a ticket, through the website "Kickstart".  When next online via computer instead of phone, I will post the link :-) .

The website is now up, with trailers & teasers for the films! More are still being accepted, including music videos. The Kickstarter site is no longer in use (I think), replaced by this one.....
