I don't recall eating before bed as bad, but I have heard of it before. What comes to mind is that if you eat a Thanksgiving Dinner, potatoes and carbs, that makes you sleepy and you go to bed within 30min to an hour of eating it, it hasn't processed through you to the intestines really to start good digesting. It's something about if you're sleeping (aka "resting"), instead of moving after eating a meal like that you're telling your body to store it as fat and not process it as sugars, energy, or take the nutrients from it.
I heard something about how you can tell how many nutrients you needed based on the (ew) clarity of your pee >>; Not sure if that's true, but I have noticed it before where if you consume too much of something it stops being clear because your body is rejecting those nutrients. Because for the moment, it has full stores and doesn't need them.
Moving on ward! I did jogging and walking for about 30 minutes yesterday, more jogging than walking, but did walk to cool-down. My calf behind the knee still aches XD Goes to prove how out of shape I am. Anyone know if it's good to still exercise while aching if it's not the day immediately after? It's aching because I'm using muscles I haven't used in a long time, not because they're injured. :/
EDIT
@ Black~Rose :
I take it you had wisdom teeth surgery recently? I lost almost no weight when I had my surgery last spring. I switched between water, apple juice, milk, milkshakes, instant mashed potatoes (of 2 flavors). I became really determined to eat hard food and would attempt soggy cheerios, soggy ginger snaps and swallowing small bits of bananas. I stayed pretty good around 110 for a whole month
I didn't get to eat my beloved pretzels until almost 2 months out, but I could start pasta sooner.
