Other cosplays besides Hetalia might be perceived as disrespectful, but... kids dressed up in (as far as the average person would know) Nazi uniforms, posing in front of a WWII memorial? (>.<)'\ *facepalm* That would be the mother of all bad publicity, and could easily go viral.

Actually, the DURARARA! photoshoot is taking place there, and cosplayers have had shoots there before. And that someone was me.

It's been talked about at the ops directorate level, and I have had a couple of people, non-staff, ask me about it off of the forums.

MiriaRose added the point of no photoshoots at all.

@kori: not sure if you are the one in charge of the haruhi suzumiya photoshoot, but do you think you can change it to a later time possibly? cuz i'm going to the cosplay chess game (i may or may not be in it) and i don't want to risk it. it ends at 2:30pm (3pm just in case) do you think maybe we could pick a different time? i really want to go to the shoot since i was never able to go in 09

@Doe: That's fine by me. No one was saying anything on the thread so I just sort of put a random time and day. I know people are doing the cosplay but no one had posted anything in a while on the thread so I wasn't sure. But yeah, that's fine by me.

As for a map, I'll post it as soon as they do. There really isn't much though. I did some scouting last weekend. It really is pretty much the park... OTL

Please keep in mind that this is the thread for scheduling photoshoots during the con.

It's completely appropriate to discuss what kind of locations are appropriate as long as it can be done civilly, but it needs to be done in its own thread. I've split the topic, and the war memorial debate can now be found here:

Doe: Yeah, I'm thinking that the park and hotels will be the bulk of locations for shoots. There are some nice outdoor locations besides the park too. We'll just check it out once we're there.

can you update the Kingdom Hearts photoshoots to say ("Disney" is welcome) cuz it seems like they aren't planning anything and someone was already asking about that. and since there are disney characters in KH and often times a lot of disney people come to the shoot anyways, it will be nice for them to have a place to come and take pictures

Anyone know what day the cosplay contest will be so costumes for photoshoots can be planned accordingly? cuz going to vampire knight shoot as vamp yuki(if i get it done) aint gonna work if I've dyed my hair blue for shiva and the ff shoot.....

I was going to do sweet lolita with a minnie mouse outfit, but the dress turned out way to small. Im sure if you asked in the lolita thread, many people would agree to a lolita photoshoot. Id love to see it.
