I'd like some help ._.

I can't help to always feel self-conscious, always. Even when I'm posting in forums. Liek, I always feel like people sitting at their computers reading my posts are thinking that I'm some kind of n00b or they hate me because I post stupid things that my post is unwanted in their thread or something... I'm sure I am worrying too much but I'd like some kind of help, I donno to maybe calm my nerves about forum posting? Do I really have to worry so much about things like this?

I'm pretty new to this forum also, so I'm feeling a little similar. Go ahead and post where you want to post as long as it's on topic with the thread. If someone replies, then someone replies. If not, I just keep looking for a different one to join.

Ohh, really? I'm less nervous on large forums because it's impossible to know everyone there and things move so fast. This one moves so much slower and it's disconcerting.

I know the feeling. I'm used to be very soft spoken and still remain rather reserved with most people. The thing you have to remember is that no one will ever know about your possibly fantastic ideas if you don't offer to give them.

You don't need to worry about that ^^ Most of the people here are really nice (Come to think about it, i've never come across anyone who wasn't nice) and just as long as you don't don't start fights with anyone or troll, everything should be fine :'3

As long as you don't post anything bias (like anti-gay, anti-anime, anti-religion) things, then you should make a lot of friends in no time!

It'll also be less awkward if you make friends with people who are on these forums so they can ease you into it. I've had personal meet-ups with a lot of users!

Well, most of the people on this site(that I have talked to) are a nice bunch of people, and they're quite friendly. :3
So, you shouldn't worry about what you post, as long as it is not starting any arguments or trolling, or anything.

I found the audio books for "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie and "How to Make People Like You in 90 Seconds or Less" by Nicholas Boothman to be a real big help for me.  And Debra Fine's "Fine art of Small Talk."  ^^

Anyways, welcome to the forums.  And hey, what's wrong with being a n00b?  We were all n00bs at once.  No one was born an otaku. ^^

Forums are great for loosening up... personally, I love being able to think about a post and edit it before "saying" something. It goes a long way toward hiding the awkwardness I sometimes feel when talking to people.

Thanks >.< I'll definitely  look into those! And I have nothing against n00bs, I just don't normally like feeling like one.
But also before I forget, I wanted to thank you. Me and my girlfriend and other female friend talked my guy friend into wearing a dress to this last convention; He was mainly against the idea and was pretty embarrassed but we walked passed you a few times and you made him feel a little better. He said "At least I'm not the only guy here in a dress, that helps me feel a little better." So thanks for that
