I am in the mood to host another picnic. It has been a long time since I have done one. I think the best place to have it is at Cook Park in Tigard. There is lost of covered areas, great areas to take pictures and free parking. I understand that Tigard may not be the easiest to get to for some but the park is in a great place and I would strongly suggest giving it a try. It is in a very secluded area and there is lots of space to run around. So here are the basics.

When: April 9th at noon
Where: Cook Park Tigard 97224

It is a picnic so it would be great if people could bring food. Also it would be great if people could bring food that would be good for a meal rather than a bunch of sweets (for those of you that remember the first picnic we had like six cakes and several batches of cookies x.x).

If you are interested in coming please feel the forum out so I know what to expect

Food: chips, b-day cake?

Wondering if it'd be okay to have a mini b-day party for me, since it is that next Wednesday. Mainly I'd probably just bring a cake and tell my cosplay friends that I'm having my "party" there.

Woot. I was planning on having a meet that day anyways, and this way people don't have to choose.

Still not sure who I'll cosplay...
Possibly Agito...Or maybe even Kaname if my stuff for him comes by then.

You can take the buss but it is a bit of a walk depending on what buss you take. The 76 drops you off on hall and that is about half a mile the 12 drops you off on 99 and that is about a mile.

I live very close to the park so I'd be able to pick people up at the BTC.
My van will fit 5 more people legally (can put seats down and smuggle peoples >>).

Hur I might try to make it out to this. Although April 10th (Sunday) is my birthday so I dunno if my family wants to get together Friday/Saturday/Sunday. :\

Looks like we have at least 20 people coming. I'm not too sure on the food so it might be a good idea to eat something small before coming just in case there isn't any real food and just snack food.

Not at all. I find that one of the most annoying things is to work really hard on a costume then get to a con and wear it for the first time and have it fall apart. This is a chance to test it out but by no means required. It is also a chance to hang out with friends and increase the hype or help subdue the excite of going or not going to a con (for those that can't go to Sakuracon)
