Good morning, all, and by the grace of God Portland is still here and thus far no signs of Antifa causing any problems, again by the grace of God almighty. Okay I am disappointed that Knute Buehler lost to Kate Brown, but in all honesty, no offense, Knute was rather um...lacking and Sam Carpenter proved to be a disappointment. Looks like for Oregon it's four more years of Oregon Democrat establishment corruption. However I will continue to speak out and try to do my part to turn the Portland area from blue to red, or at least a nice shade of purple. Now with hat being said here are the facts that need to be known about the election results.
1. Tenuous at best: While it is true the Democrats now control the house of representatives, their control is tenuous at best. In order to be able to go though with their Far-Left agenda to constantly investigate and impeach Trump they needed to gain 20 seats, they only gained 3. In other words they go too far off into Leftist looney land and there will be a price to pay.
2. The Senate is redder then ever: Last night the Republicans actually gained seats in the Senate. Which means even if the House Democrats were to decide to try an impeach or investigation attempt, it would be stopped dead in in it's tracks by the Senate.
3. There's dissension in the ranks: It's not a very well known fact, but a number of Democrats have actually agreed with some of the stuff/ideas Trump has. If they want to keep their seats they;'ll have to go along with Trump otherwise they could find themselves in a world of trouble with their constituents. Again no going into Leftist Looney land or else.
4. All the Dollars but no sense: Nancy Pelosi is great at raising money for the Democrats but her leadership abilities are severely lacking. I have a funny fng she's not going to be elected House Speaker. If the Democrats are so foolish enough to do so they will making a critical tactical error which will result in their tenuous control being put in jeopardy. Nancy Pelosi is really not at all that well liked by people, she only thinks she's all that and a bag of chips, when she's clearly not.
5.Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: Let's face facts this young Democratic Socialist is a walking, talking meme. It seems every time she opens her mouth something newer and more incredibly foolish comes out. Which is why i say let her speak her mind. With all the stupid stuff she says it can be taken dissected and used to show just how loony Left the Democrats have become. The fact that 75% of her district voted for her just goes to show how out of touch that part of New York is and how they'll soon be regretting what they'vedone I suspect. And Cortez ha already shown her foolishness by saying, "Let's see Trump face down a girl from the Bronx!"
To that I say "Umm, yeah, young lady, you have no idea who you're going up against. Trump has dealt with people bigger and nastier then you. In other words you go up against him...he will, proverbially speaking, eat you alive!"
These next two to four years are going to be interesting we'll see what happens. it'll be interesting that much is a certainty. If there's anything you think I should've added to my list please feel free to make a note of it in your reply.
