That awkward moment when you're at your first
Toastmasters meeting, you get up to introduce yourself and after about 30 seconds, have nothing left to say . . which results in that "frog stuck in your throat" sound as you try to say something and nothing comes out.
(Thankfully, I made it up when at the end of the meeting, I was asked to give my thoughts on my first experience at Toastmasters. I stood up, said I enjoyed myself, and "I was glad that I got the whole 'make myself look like an idiot' thing out of the way, so it should be all uphill from here."
There were some lolz had, and then I spoke with several of the people from the group afterwards and felt really good about the whole experience.) ^^
