2011 May 21 General Meeting

Our next general meeting will be held on Saturday, May 21, at 1:00 PM, at:

Multnomah Arts Center
7688 SW Capitol Hwy
Portland, OR 97219

Update: We will be meeting in the gymnasium. Please be advised that in this room there is a strict rule against any food or drink (except water).

General meetings are open to the public. Meet and plan with other staff, find out about joining staff or become a volunteer, and learn about open staff positions. Bring interested friends!

I will be unable to attend, I will be visiting my grandma in southern oregon. I want to get a trip to see her in before I get too cumbersome

I'll be advising two clubs at the college, so I can't attend...  I probably would make more of an effort if I had won the Secretary position, but I think this is one of the reasons why I didn't get it.  Oh well; no biggie.  (BTW, who did win the position?  I know someone who needs to talk to him/her as soon as possible).

I'll be attending this meeting.  I'm interested in finding out ways I can help with the con.  Been going a while and want to start helping out by volunteering/staffing at them as well.  See you guys there.

I just received word that in our meeting room venue (the gymnasium at the Multnomah Arts Center), there is a strict rule against food or drink (except water). Although many of our meeting venues have this rule, it is strictly enforced and super important here!

When is the last meeting to turn in panel forms? I'm hoping to get in the artist alley, and was told to wait until after that is resolved to turn in panelist forms, but the AA apps haven't gone up yet so I wanted to check on panel app timing. (Sorry if this is off-topic.)

I think this is the last meeting, because the e-mail submission is due on June 4, and the next meeting is after that.

Sorry I've been out of the loop so far this year. Between my dad having health issues, getting married, and having pneomonia this year has gone by at breakneck speed. I will be attending the June 12th meeting :)
