They had to even consider the lighting to make it look like they were actually standing on stage. Well done. Pretty crazy what technology can do these days.

Enjoy, Blackstar! I'm not really a vocaloid fan, but I'd want to go just to marvel at how cool they look. People are cheering at a television and it looks totally natural o_o I love that there's a real band, too.

EDIT: Watching more, that "Meltdown" song is really good. Take video so we can vicariously attend this concert through you, please :3

As far as I know, that's pretty much it. I'm not sure why they went with having them about 10 ft. tall; perhaps it was to make them more visible to everyone. I think it would've been better if they aimed for 5'-5'6" tall, myself...

I think the 10 foot idea wasn't bad myself since it really caters to everyone. Since the performers aren't real, why not make them huge and show off the awesome technology? No matter where you stand in the crowd you're going to get the exact same angle (maybe a little more flat than straight on), but not like the different angles you see with a real person. I think it was a good move, myself.

It also helps the fact that the Vocaloids only move back and forth across the stage, not up and down like real artists.

More I watch videos, the more I want to go. For real.

Well, I was referring to the people in the back. It can be tough to see performers when you're far away enough and have a bunch of people jumping up and down in front of you or raising their arms for some reason. That's all I meant.

My anime club tried to, but since we didn't have all of the funds ourselves we had to ask the school to help contribute; they shot us down because they believed that there was no educational value to cons.
