WELL DUH! Well anticipation but also a bit anxious that everything will work right especially on Monday, since I'm herding my crew of otaku's to the con! Let's just hope no one loses an eye, or a vital limb. With those rabid fangirls, you can never be sure. (...oh wait I am one of those fangirls...)

I'm not going crazy, it's more like I'm going insane. I've got a lot of things to do before I go to sleep Thursday, then again, I might not go to sleep on Thursday. >.<

Nice.. I'm actually not doing a costume this year.. Other than your standard fanboy t-shirt..  The nice thing about the nightclubs in Portland, you can go in costume to (most of) them (well, the wierder ones anyway) any day of the year - so going-without during a con isn't TOO big of a loss..

..yeah i'm not fooling myself.. I WANT A COSUTME!! I don't have time this year.. and i'm NOT wearing what I wore last year.. or the year before at Sakuracon..

This year my plan is total observer. Video Camera. Digital Camera. Lots of roaming around..

I need to score a good costume maker..

It's finally sunk into my slow brain that it's only 3 days away now. *Runs about packing* My crew is leaving in two, I have a rehersal the night before we leave, and I have to get done with a thousand word essay on some 600 page book.

*faints*

ZOMG. Same here its just finally sinking in. And I have to go back to school 2 days after and I have to start my summer homework... Reading a 300 page book that I haven't started... UGH! I wish it hadn't sunk in so I could still be all happy-go-lucky.

Of course I'm such a procrastinator... I'm going to end up making a yaoi fanfic on Count of Monte Cristo instead of an essay.

"just sinking in" is SO not the way I'm looking at this.  "Praying to God I get it all done in time" is.  While I can run registration at this point, I still have so much to do to make a dozen other things work out the way I want.

wow that is WAY different - it used to look like a drab, grey prison (litterally) from the outside when I went there..

ALSO - they would have teachers actually patrol around in cars looking for students who were skipping class. They'd go all the way out to 9th street -there used to be a mini mall thing there called The Cannery Mall - and it had a record store and stuff in it - teachers would go troll around there looking for kids..

ahh memories..

o_o; Yeah. I think it's still there. I'm a total nerd so I don't go out of the house much. xDDD I don't know the streets other than 3rd, 4th and 9th street. TT__TT;

heh.. that *almost* makes me homesick.. I haven't been to Corvallis in ages.. The last time was.. almost 2 years ago - a quick trip to the Animal House to pick up some giant hissing cockroaches :)

Man, if there had been an anime con as close as Portland when I last lived there.. ooooh man. I didn't get to go to my first con until I moved here (and even then, it was out of state, over at Sakuracon).

tomorrow is going to absolutely suck. I am barely making it through this morning. This waiting is TORTURE.

Almost eh? ;D How about them Beavers!? Haha. I've seem the new stadium and it's gaint... X-x I wana go inside though.

This'll be my first 3 day con. I've been to uber small ones held by Matt's Cavalcade of Comics... Little TV with a box of Anime DVDs. xDD

Dx I know. I can't eat... I'm so hyper and I'm getting on my moms nerves... And I have to go. Dx Gotta learn how to test my friends blood sugar, seeing as he's diabetic and he's comming up to the con with us, we'll need to know how in case of an emergency. ^_^ See you later, nyo!

I used to get my comics there!! :)

There will be a hotel nurse on call and last I heard, Kumoricon was trying to ge their their own EMTs to be on hand - otherwise i think a few registered nurses will be attending too..  But hopefully it won't come to that!

Yeah i can't focus at work at all. in fact i've spent the past 5 hours hopping between this board and others doing nothing but talking about all this.. And now its lunchtime. Not bad - getting paid to talk about a con all mornng ;)

yeah. Seriously. Visualize World Peace or whatever but especially visuallize Cosplay 24/7..

life is so much theater anyway - it would be a step up.. It would certainly make things a lot more interesting. Altho maybe I like it so much because it stands out against everything else.. (and if it were the "norm" that wouldn't be the case)

..nah, i don't care. it should be every where every day.  Out of the Cons and Into The Streets!  :D

2 days. 2 days. And I'm still a brunette. (SUPPOSED to be blonde) And I have only about a million people I need to call and confirm plans with. And still the homework taunts me so. The weird thing was that I was in town today. I could have just as easily taken the free MAX ride to go check out the site from the outside. But I didn't. I didn't quite want to ruin the surprise.

Plus I was hopped up on a Rockstar that I consumed earlier in the day, and I really wanted me some Carl's Jr. (they don't have that in Tacoma, and Carl's Jr. was all but a staple from when I grew up in Southern California).
