I've been posting around, and in as many forums as I can to find people for our local band!
Marble Lotus is seeking a bassist, and a female vocalist to help our anime theme band grow. We currently have 6 original songs(and more coming!). Our style is alternative/rock/progressive, but we have some slow acoustic ballads as well as some harder power chord kind of stuff. We write what we feel and we have a BLAST doing it. Most bands write about love, war, politics or other issues. We write based off of Japanese anime. We wright our songs based on an anime series. When we wright our lyrics, we reflect on what happens in the series, and not make it sound like a cheesy plot summary. It's a different angle, well thought out and we love doing it!
Ages 21~33 preferably, 'but' might squeeze a few years for the right person!
We practice Friday and Saturday nights after 6pm. Our spot is near Barbur & 26th Ave.
PS!! Attention bass player! We have a sweet sound system setup, so even if you don't own a bass cab, no problem!! Although you'll need to get one down the road when we play out.
*Oh oh!! And we have a nice vocal mic too!!*
