Where Do You Store Your Cosplay Costumes/Props?

Odd question, but one I've been thinking about. Where do you all keep your cosplay materials (costumes and props) when you are not wearing them? Do you have display rooms for props? Do they sit in a closet? Do you have a room dedicated to cosplay stuff? What is your strategy to keeping the ever-growing beast that is cosplay paraphernalia?

I wish I had my own room for all my cosplay stuff >_<
But my stuff is pretty much where I find room. I have all my wigs in my room on my shelves. My cosplays are either in my own closet or a closet in the laundry room. And my props stay in my room, or bigger ones sit in the garage.

I'm hoping to clean and reorganize everything this summer so I can keep everything in my room.

I actually have some lockers in my room. We had two double lockers in our garage so I took them, cleaned them, and painted them. I put my random cosplay stuff in my top right one, my full cosplays in my bottom right one, fabrics and other crafty stuff in the upper left one, and non-cosplay stuff in the bottom left one. I'm gonna have to expand soon though.

I keep all of my stuff in my closet. I'm not one to have more then four or five cosplays at once(I tend to sell whatever i don't wear anymore), so i have plenty of room.

I have this closet that is huge in my room so I hang them up in there usually unless they are really exspensive then i hide them in a closet downstairs

right now, all my cosplay stuff [shoes/hats/etc] is in a tub in my living room XD

I WISH I had a spare room dedicated to just putting cosplay stuff in! SOMEDAY.

I just keep my cosplays in my closet, and props and whatnot just sit around my room. It's funny because you'll walk into my room and see a prop shovel leaning against the wall, my Sweeney and Hit-Girl wig sitting on the floor, ect. Can't imagine what it looks like to someone who's not into cosplay. :B

Or if you're a Depp fan you can look around my room going, "Oh, there's Shooter's shovel and hat, Mort Rainey's glasses, Duke's glasses, and Sweeney's razor. I love it.

Yeah I mainly keep things in my closet or a drawer in my desk, for big props such as my six swords I put them under my bed.

Under the bed! That's the ticket! I am always trying to think of places to stash my props, and never once had the space under the bed even registered as an option. Great idea, Nik!

Right now, all of this stuff is either on my floor or in a drawer.  I'm currently going through my room in an attempt to get ready for the eventual move-in with my girlfriend.

I hide my props in drawers and cuboards with my smaller headdresses and necklaces and ties :3

All over my apartment. Have stuff in every single room of it

When i was in my own place, my wigs were proudly displayed on a shelf over my computer, with my smaller props tucked in amongst them. Now they have their own box in my closet. Lucky for me I have one whole closet for my cosplays. And my older "retired" cosplays are tucked into a suitcase in storage.

Pretty much all over my room. I'm in the process of clearing out my cloest, so I want to use that more eventually. I also have a couple of shelves that ren't really holding anything important taht I'm gonna start keeping wigs on, they're nice and high up so my cat can't get to them. Really, my room is just a cosplay mess though. My props are usually stored on bookshelves and I've got an old couch that I can't use at all because it's covered in bits of fabric and scrap wood and clay and stuff that I use for props.
