Hello! Watch this thread for the upcoming AMV Contest Playlist
to be posted here, and then additional updates on category and
contest WINNERS.

I believe that 2008 was a high point in Kumoricon, and that while 2009 and 2010 also had very good contests and fantastic, high-quality
entries, there was something about 2008, maybe the 2008 triple crown win for "Who Needs a King," or something else I couldn't quite put my finger on that just made 2008 feel like the high water mark.

THIS YEAR WE WILL TOP 2008.
I am humbled and excited to present to you all
what I believe will be the BEST Kumoricon AMV
contest so far.

My mind is still numb from how wonderful that AMV contest was, easily the highlight of our first every visit to Kumoricon!  Congrats to all the participants for their amazing work, I'll sign back on in a few days with more detailed feedback when my brain cools off.

The Alternate Distorsion AMVs are from the "Eden Team." They are the guys in MADAGASCAR.
One member goes by the handle "Aken" on other forums.

'Implosion' was sent to me with a private name and e-mail address, and so I would prefer to keep that private.
(These things happen, not everything out there is available on the internet...)

But I'd like to see that One Piece one that was about piracy. I forget if that was part of the treat for CC or if it had been in the contest. It was really hilarious to see though.
