I'm going to be cosplaying as Nepeta Leijon. I decided to post in here, beclawse this was the furst Homestuck thread I came across. I would have read through all twenty fur pages, but that is a furry lot. I was just hoping to get some info furrm mew guys.
Such as, photoshoot day, the time of it, and if anyone is going to the ball in Homestuck wear.
I'm gonna be Nepeta fur that as well.

I just want to try to get my schedule figured out, so I'm not putting on my makeup, only to take it off fur a panel I'm helping to run. If mew guys could help a kitten out, I would really apurreciate it!

Also my makeup came in, but I only just mixed my grey lighter today do I won't be able to use that for a while, but this is just a makeup test. I need to get red and blue plastic for the lenses, this is just crappy dry erase marker for the sake of the makeup test. I also need to make the horns and style my wig.
Can't wait to use my lighter make up : )

Hello - my friend and I are planning on cosplaying Jane and Roxy this year as well, and though we've been to Kumoricon multiple times already, we haven't participated in the forum and so we've missed every photoshoot we tried to go to. I'm really, really trying not to miss the Homestuck photoshoot(s) this year, so I suppose I'm just trying to get the gist of when and where they're going to be this year. I've noticed some people saying they're going to be every day during the con' at 4:13, with the main photoshoot on the second day - is that correct? Is it confirmed yet? Sorry to be a bother, and I hope to see a lot of you at the convention!

In that case, whenever the photoshoot thread goes up, someone should submit that our actual shoot day is day 2 at 4:13, but note in this thread that we're gonna be hanging out in the park at 4:13 on day 1 if anyone also wants to come shoot then.

Yeah, that sounds like it would work great - Day 1 would be a casual Homestuck photoshoot at the gazebo in the park at 4:13 and Day 2 would be the major Homestuck photoshoot at the gazebo at 4:13.

Should I just put it on the "OFFICIAL PhotoShoot Schedule 2012 thread ~" now? It seems like the sooner the date and time is established, the easier it is as the convention approaches.

Do we have people who are for sure able to run the photoshoot yet though? Or is it still too early to know?

Naw, I've said I'll do it at least for day 2, so I'll stick with that. Just to make facilitating a little easier on me, I won't participate in the actual picture-taking. In the past, that's definitely the thing that's tripped me up when running big shoots.

I'll be going to con as FourAcesSuited!Dave, but I probably won't show up to any meetups unless they're really small. I went to Akon as Dave this year and it felt like taking my life into my hands on the Main Day meetup. Being allergic to the ingredients in trollpaint is a dastardly curse, I tell you.

Also, all Jade Harley's are welcome to take naps on my smuppet!tables if they find me and I'm not rushing off somewhere.

So I've finished my Spades Slick cosplay (well maybe not, I think I need to fix the eyes) and I want to pull together a second cosplay, (which isn't Homestuck but it's still MS Paint Adventures) Nervous Broad. I'm starting to get really excited about my cosplays for the convention!

It would be pretty funny to cosplay Jailbreak (if a little difficult considering they don't even have any sort of designs at all but that'd be part of the fun too) but no, Nervous Broad. I was actually considering going as Pickle Inspector for a second cosplay, but I decided I'd have more fun with Nervous Broad, plus I'd probably pull her off better (especially considering I can wear high heels for her so I can be taller, except getting used to high heels will be very difficult).
