Doctor Who Fandom panel was epic. The Katies & I expected maybe 40? Got over 100 more than that to our first year running it at KC (though I've run it at OryCon & MEW). The spot-on impersonations of everyone from various Doctors to Cassandra to Captain Jack Harkness literally had me LOL'ing so hard there were a couple times I even dropped to the floor. Then getting the whole room to sing along with my Time Lord Time Warp filk was super fun. And there was a mother-daughter team who came respectively as River Song, with every conceivable prop, all hand-made, and Pirate garb Amy Pond. OMG. & Folks signed up for our facebook group.
I love that FilkAeris & I resurrected Fanfic Bedtime Stories (FilkAeris noticed it wasn't on the schedule, & we advocated via the forums to be able to add it after deadline) & we got 46 people. Even limiting to 5-minute slots, we still had folks waiting to read at the end, & folks signing up for our mailing list.
Religion in Anime & Manga panel is always an intellectual highlight for me. This was our 6th or 7th year running it (for me & Guy), I think maybe 4th? for Jeni, & 2nd for Taco.
Filk it Up! was super fun. As was the fact that my favorite people from the forums, whom I had never met irl before last con, I suddenly was seeing everywhere...& sometimes in crossplay....Love it!
<<EDIT>> Washougal sure knows how to work (and accidentally almost fanservice) a crowd. His stand up comedy shtick was truly LOL funny & very well-received.
