Definitely the guy on the bicycle after the second rave. I was in my Kingdom Hearts OC cosplay, and he had this huge habit of following me. It was really creepy, bad enough that I asked a friend to walk me back to my room. So that I'd be safe. Then when I had to dead back to con, the guy was still there. Followed me on his bike, and made rude comments. I tried to shrug it off, but when his friends started talking about how he wanted to do things (sexually) with me, I went "I'm sixteen." which is a total lie to anyone that knows me. And what he said made me shudder. "Doesn't matter to me, if there is grass on the field it's open play."
I had a serious WTF moment with that.
Also, all the stuck up cosplayers. I had a small handful of buddies that actually spent any time hanging out with me. I seriously got to learn who really is a friend to me, this con. I'm not helping people anymore, and not being a counselor for their little bickering things anymore. I'm tired of putting myself forward to help others, and then get told "Oh sorry we are too busy to hang out now. Thanks for -insert whatever I did for them here-."
Also, I'm going to openly state this. The Locke Cosplayer (spelling?) From Final Fantasy. When the Final Fantasy group gathered for pictures on Sunday, your photobombing was NOT appreciated. You rather annoyed the man with the sword, and your constant need to get in on everything was a pesky and rather bothersome thing. Also, you were very creepy. For the SECOND time I've met you. Stop following me around con. I am NOT the voice actress for Lust, and don't you EVER glare at me like that again when I tell you not to do something. That photographer wanted a picture of Reno only, not you. You aren't even from the same numbered series. You weren't hot, so stop posing like a stud, and you weren't funny with your constant stealing of things. You were annoying. I swear if you stalk me ever again, I'm reporting you to the Yoji. (Also if Reno reads this, Nova loves you and misses not having hung out more. <3)
I'm the Locke cosplayer you met and I have some things I wanted to explain.
I don't mean any disrespect when I say this, but you're over-exaggerating about a lot of the things you said about me and you don't me as well as you think.
Regarding the "photobombing": I wasn't trying to cause any trouble by doing that. I didn't know that those pics were being taken until the last second. If I had noticed right as they had been planned, I would've gotten in at that time. I don't normally jump into pictures like that and I wasn't trying to annoy anyone. I just felt like those pictures would be more complete with another FF cosplayer, since I was from the same series. I would not have done it if I was cosplaying someone from a different anime or video game saga. But I will be more careful at future photoshoots.
Also, when you said I was trying to pose like a stud, you clearly don't know enough about my character. If you've seen the Final Fantasy 6 character art, then you should know that Locke poses like that. When I dress as him, I normally pose in that position. When I cosplayed as Judas and Keele from the Tales series, I posed like them, too.
I'm sorry if I annoyed the guy with the sword. I was acting that way because like I said during the shoot, my character steals from enemies in battle. I don't have much experience acting in-character and didn't think to rehearse.
Sometimes cosplayers like to be in-character and I was just trying to be creative. The reason why I said "I'm stealing your sword" was so he'd be prepared when I pretended to do it. I didn't want him to think I was literally trying to steal from him and because FF6 is a popular game, I expect most FF fans to know who I am, since Locke is one of the main characters.
And when you said I was glaring at you, if I did, I wasn't trying to. I'm sorry if any expression I had made you think that, but if I looked to you like I was doing that, it wasn't intentional. If I was that angry with you, I would've explained it in a detailed note. I explain things best that way.
Also, when you said I was stalking you, what you said can't be farther from the truth. If you honestly think I was doing that, you worry too much. Of the eight years I've been attending anime conventions, I have never stalked one person, nor do I have any intention to, and you're the only one who has ever criticized me for that.
You need to remember that Kumoricon is much smaller than Sakura Con and Otakon and at smaller conventions it's easy to run into the same people several times.
Also, I get myself involved with a lot of different things at conventions and in-between events, I'm spending a lot of time thinking about those things as I walk through the hotel. When that happens, I don't pay as much attention to who I see and if you did see me as much as you said, I didn't notice you for that reason. If you see me at any future cons and run into me that many times, it's just a coincidence. There are multiple occasions where I've run into the same people at cons that many times. It is common.
And regarding Lust, if I asked you if you were Laura Bailey a few years ago, I don't remember that. If I had, I wouldn't have asked you that at the FF shoot. And I didn't think you were she. I expected you to take it as a joke.
When I'm at conventions, I often pretend to think that other attendees are famous people if I think they look like a celebrity or voice actor. I don't do it with most people I see, but if I do, it's only if I'm either at a photoshoot, waiting in line or if it's someone I've been around long enough. And you're the only person who's given a negative reaction. Most people I've said that to knew it was a joke, thinking it was funny and at least a few of them said that they get it a lot.
I'm sorry if I caused you any trouble during the weekend, but if you see me at future cons, please don't think I'm trying to stalk you. I'm not the person you think I am and I'll be more careful with how I behave at photoshoots.
