@Drauska I'm not sure about making one, but I've seen a lot of people who buy ponytail clips and just hook them onto their clothes. Cosplay.com has a large selection of colors to choose from and straight or curly wig tails.

What started as just a swimsuit spread. So by Kumoricon I'll definitively have my full M!Rarity ~ along with swimwear and rave versions (and possibly ball room version depending).

From what I've seen (and what I'd do, as well), the general idea is to wear something that is the character's coat color and that suits them, that also has the cutie mark on there.
For Trixie (which is, amazing, BTW), I'd say to possibly have a classy suit, or perhaps wizard's robes or something.

Ladies and gentleman it's official the Equestria princesses and the Bronies, have invaded Kumoricon, not that i have a problem or anything. if anything I've been doing some research on the brony movement and I find this cultural phenomenon rather fascinating.
