I was cosplaying Maka, and I found him really late on Day 2 and idled on up to him and was like "Well heeey there Black Star." and he did the laugh, then hugged me off the ground. I was in fangirl heaven. <3

I was scared he was going to spin me around when he saw me Day 1 in the morning as Soul XD He almost did I think but was kind enough not to ^^ It was a nice pretend glomp hug.

He's a good guy outside of cons, too. Man, I knew him back in high school, back when he was dating this one girl, and he was nowhere near as awesome as he is now! Well, I mean, he probably was, but he just never really showed it. To be honest, I was surprised when I saw a mutual friend of ours with him, and they told me who it was. I was like, "No way, that's him?! That's crazy!" Ah, Kumoricon...

THATS MY BOYFRIEND!!!!! His name is Devin, and he is pretty much like that normally, except not as loud! If you want to see him again, you should all come to Cosplay Day in Portland at Pioneer Courthouse Square at 12 on October 28th!!! He will join us at about 3ish.

I found him on YouTube.. we chatted for a little bit.... Honestly all i did was Fail Flirt XD. But i told him about my plans of cosplaying Tsubaki next year. I hope he cosplays Black Star again... at least... just for a pic with me lol....

through out the entire con whenever i saw him i would say "Oh... There goes my husband." lol. I love Black Star, he is my favorite.

Oh yeah, he is so being Black*Star, especially since I am planning on spending close to $500 to be Tsubaki at Sakura-con.
Every now and then we have cosplay days, and just walk around as Belle (my neko chara) and Black*Star.

He was SOOO awesome. Everybody in my group can't stop talking about him. Hands down, by far, he was our number one pick for best cosplayer at Kumoricon. He's even up there for best of all time, but he has stiff competition with Jack Skellington. He was loud and abnoxious, but that is perfectly in character which is what made him so cool. It's great whenever somebody gets that much into cosplay, and it makes me proud of the sub-culture I belong to.
