Sorry about the less than immediate response, but yes, I think we should meet up at the con. Two Miku's, a Kaito, and my brother as Gakupo.

For the karaoke, I already have 1 and 2/3 songs memorized, and am working on another. I am a mixed bag when it comes to singing, but as long it is fun and I don't hurt anybody's ears, I'm fine with singing them.

I've only been into vocaloid for about a year and only seriously into it for a short while, so very few songs. Cantarella and Another: World is Mine, both by Kaito. I have time for another one, maybe two songs two memorize before the con, and I can't decide which ones out of the list.

Hello again! Long time no post, for me at least. My trip to Kumoricon is sealed. I now have the hotel reserved and everything is in order, so there is nothing to worry about...

except embarrassing myself in the karaoke room.
Shineba iinoni is proving more challenging than I thought, with its weird beat. I'm having trouble finding time to practice, since my brother doesn't care for my singing voice and I'm a semi-active author on FanFiction. I only have a few lines of the non-chorus parts down. I need to take memorizing more seriously.

Also, this karaoke thing sounds fun, could somebody give me more information? I love singing Vocaloid songs and I have karaoke versions of all my favorites, but I don't know how it's supposed to work .3.

That sounds like fun! I'll probably go and sing a bunch of NataP Vocaloid songs I've collected, although now that I know I can have lyrics I'll probably not try as hard to memorize them between now and the convention .3. I have all my lyrics in a spiffy little Gakupo-themed notebook that I carry with me everywhere.

If they have to be karaoke, though, I have to knock one song off the playlist because there's no karaoke version for it D:

So I'll probably show up with Luka and do a bunch of songs. Provided you can have two people up there at once .3.

I believe you can have as many people up on the karaoke stage as you want at one time (given it's a reasonable amount, and not something ridiculous like 50 or anything). 2 people is definitely okay.

I put the finishing touches on the headphones for both my cosplays last night. I already had the head-swoosh-thing for Gakupo before but it needed some retouching... and now I guess I'm ready to go.

According to the long range forecast we might want to plan on cooler weather and possible rain, but really it could go either way.

Just think of it as typical Portland/Vancouver weather. Rainy one minute, sunny the next, hail the next, then fog. Insert random number generator.

Personally I hope it's warm, but not as hot as last year... mid 80's would be very nice rather than high 90's.
