      This is simply a thread to give a shout out to an amazing/silly/cute/etc. cosplay you saw over the three days of Kumoricon 2011. I'll start.
     
      I would like to say the Soviat Union!Russia(I apologize if I got the name of your costume wrong) I saw on day three was amazing.I loved your bloody, tattered scarf and the pink collar you brought the the hetalia yaoi photoshoot. You were amazing

The Black Star that was going around screaming all the time. I really appreciated his effort to stay in character, was pretty nice to talk to and I hope his voice isn't completely shot out.

Also, woot to the two human ish Prinny. It was a creative fix of the cosplay and their props were very nicely made!

I also give kudos to all who entered the cosplay contest. The Final Fantasy Ball Z skit.

And further kudos to everyone who cooked alive in their layers of layers of costumes. I hope you all got enough water and A/C.

The tall Karkat that also shouted all the time. (Earning himself the nickname "yelling guy" within my group.) He was almost constantly in character and managed to lead the independent photoshoots while doing it. That must have been difficult to do in large crowds. My friends couldn't stop talking about it.

Also, kudos to the Kyuubey cosplayer that went around offering contracts to people complete with a flickr link to find the photos of that moment at. I loved the costume and I loved how prepared you were. That made it really fun.

I also loved seeing Nichole as Rikku. Appearance-wise she was already an awesome Rikku, but the fact that she went around photobombing and being generally mischievous (just like Rikku would be) was fantastic.

I don't even know where to start. I saw some amazing cosplays this year. Shiva from FFX was awesome, that steam punk guy with the epic arm, Nightmare from Soul Calibur with his amazing sword and the female Link with the master sword/hylian shield umbrella and the little mega man (SO CUTE!) just so much amazingness I could go on for quite some time.

Also the Squall that proposed at the final fantasy shoot. That guy made my whole damn week.

Awwww, thank you!! At Sakuracon I was toting around a drawing pad and scrawling on it, so I've been scaling up since then! ^ - ^

Oh, where do I start... there were a lot of cosplays I loved, but especially the Orochimarus (I jump at the chance to see an Orochimaru cosplayer--always.) Everybody in my group loves seeing the Depp Squad, and my mom and sister really look forward to seeing Captain Jack. (Dude, if you see this, sorry about my sister's crazy obsession, but you do deserve the attention. ^^)
I'd like to give a shoutout to that Might Guy cosplayer who did the splits in the Hilton lobby while we were waiting in line for the rave Sunday night. That was too awesome for words. As if that wasn't enough, he posed for a fight picture with Kakashi and Orochimaru---with Kakashi on his back!

People some times put them through **** they don't need. Like my friend cosplaied Germany and some one Seig'ed Heil to her. We ignored the man but I think alot of Germany cosplayers get a bad rep though.

Black star purely for being in character even to the point of picking up an entire water container to pour into a cup rather than use the little spout. I only saw you once at the end of the last day though.

Jerry Statler and Conrad Waldorf (muppet old guys) for epic jokes, awesome laugh, and lots of nostalgia.

LadyFiede who cosplayed as an awesome Jill Valentine and hung out with me most of my first con. I would have certainly been lost without you. =^.^= people seriously need to send her the pictures that they were taking of her.

Prinnies for having awesome cosplays and for inspiring me to make a caption picture.

Kon... you were everywhere and I believe everybody loved you. I didn't even get close and the suit was so big that I felt we were hanging out.

Mom for helping me with my costume despite wanting to change it into something COMPLETELY different for no reason and calling it a sorcerer's robe when it was done... lol ^_^'

Diglets and Dugtrio if anything for the voice accuracy but the costumes were cool as well.

Jack Skellington... enough said.

Edit: I can't believe I forgot chibi Rock/Mega Man for this list. I only saw him once while walking to the red lion but he was so adorable.

1. The Auron from the Cosplay Contest. I DIED INSIDE WHEN I SAW HIM. *strangles the fangirl inside me* When everyone was hanging out in the green room before the contest, I remember going up with him, and telling him how much I appreciated seeing his cosplay, and how totally in love with Auron I am.

2. The Male Chii(s?). I know, I know, Derek is there every year as Chii; but since this was my first year, it was the first time I ever saw it in person. ;3
