I got an e-mail response saying that the panel form has been received! However, due to space and other limitations, they don't know if they'll be able to put all of the panels they receive forms for into the program. Long story short, we won't know if the panel is approved until the schedule is finalized and posted.

If we don't manage to get the panel approved, however, I know we can manage to find the time for a Tales meetup at the very least.

Also, in more Tales related news (that I'm giddy and excited about, don't mind me), Miss Leia Rolando has been revealed to be a returning playable character in Tales of Xillia 2, which is coming out in November! And she has a new outfit to go along with her return! Totally going to cosplay that outfit in 2013. >:3 She looks so good! So excited.

It makes sense ! I do hope we get the panel o: be awesome !! but if not , then a giant lovely tales meetup <3 ~~

they just announced that Xillia is coming to the U.S :DDDDDD .. meaning they better get xillia 2 the following year.

Ahhhhh, I haven't been able to save up very much for cosplay, but the financial situation here is getting better and I should be able to start saving up for everything after next week (Next Friday is my birthday and I am absolutely going to have fun 8D). I did manage to get materials for her headband though .... I should start working on that.

egnekgnkegn YES I saw that! I was gonna come here and announce it but you got to it first, haha XDDD SO EXCITED. I can hardly understand a lot of what I'm playing in the Japanese version of the game, so it'll be amazing to finally get to understand the epicness that is Xillia ~

I'm really hoping to cosplaying as Yuri Lowell to Kumoricon... I bought a wig today and I'm gonna work on sewing the costume tomorrow.
Also, if there is going to be a panel, and anime was to be shown, I'd be more then happy to bring Tales of Vesperia the First Strike. (I got it not to long ago)

There's a really good chance I won't be bringing Richea to the con. Her wig is a royal nightmare right now after sakuracon. And really I'm not satisfied with the fabric appearance that it has right now, so I hope to work on it and redo it again after I get settled in and can get a job x_x;

We're moving shortly after Kumoricon this year, so I need to save up as much money as I can to contribute to that. I'll still be attending KCon though, and the panel is still planned!

... but more than that, The Panel has been approved! They're still working out the schedule, but we do know for sure that there WILL be a panel!

I'll let you guys know what day the panel will be when the schedule is released to us. I'm also looking for ideas to do for after-hours panels since my panel hours are kind of lacking right now and I do need some more of those, ahaha ...

Also, working on magic carta! ♥ I have all of the cards and FIRST parts of quotes listed, except for Kunzite because for some reason nobody can get Kunzite's carta. :|; I may not be able to make ALL of the cartas, but we'll have a decent amount for the con, I think.

Depending on the success of magic carta at the panel this year, I think I'm going to make magic carta into a separate panel for next year.

Yeah, it's official. I won't be able to make it to the convention this year. I talked it over with my panel partner, and he didn't feel comfortable enough taking over the Tales of Panel since I am most definitely more knowledgeable about the series as a whole, so he's going to take over the panel time slot for the Tales of Kumori panel and do a panel for a different fandom.

I'm really sorry, guys.

Next year for sure, though. And I'll make Magic Carta into a separate panel, too, for good measure. I know you all will still be having a ton of fun at the con regardless, so please, don't be too bummed about this! It'll happen next year!

So is the Tales photoshoot going to be at a fountain? I never been to Hilton before, so I'm pretty much knowledgeless about locations there OTL I wanna take some pictures of the Tales gathering too. ~~Also I think while at the Tales gathering, everybody should do the gangnam style dance just for the fun of it. I think a lot of Tales fans on tumblr would love to see that happening.~~

The fountain is literally very close to the Clock Tower. It's within shouting range (as I proved last year to my friends) and well within sight. I'm sure you'd see the Tales of gathering around there

It's about 3 or 4 (plus) stories tall, so it's hard to miss the Clock Tower. It's literally right across the street from the hotel.
