So is anyone Reading the DC Reboot.

I mean besides me and oslap.

Cause so far the majority of the books have been really good. Animal Man and Swamp Thing truly being AMAZING.

I mean I know American comics aren't everybody's thing here, but a lot of these books are just good comics, regardless of if they won WW2 or not.

I might pick one or two up, but the only DC character I was following is Harley Quinn. I got every issue of Gotham City Sirens and her solo series before that.

I'm not sure about this whole Suicide Squad thing.

I'm iffy on the Squad, only due to the fact that I'm a huge Suicide Squad fan, but this writer seems to hate what I used to love.

SO HERE WE GO:

The Squad is a top secret government taskforce that uses Super Villains that are on Death Row and gives them this choice: Work on the Squad and walk here or be put to death. Little to they known every mission the Squad (Taskforce X is it's official name)  is in fact a Suicide mission.

Core members tend to be:

Deadshot: World Class assassin who rarely misses. Also has one hell of a death wish.

Rick Flagg jr: Not a villain but their field leader, super honor US solider.

Count Vertigo: A depressed Ex Green Arrow villain.

Captain Boomerang: Failed as a Super crook tends to find the Squad as the only purpose he has.

DID SOMEONE SAY DC REBOO-
I mean besides me and oslap.
:<

Reading Swamp Thing and Animal Man because they just pulled me in. I only wish Animal Man had a better colorist on it because everything aside from the black and white part looks like it was filled in with the bucket tool on paint. The stories though, on both are great and enough to keep me coming back. They're so good that they've got me interested in past runs of the characters, so job well done, writers.

I'm loving Superman, he's much more interesting right now.

Super excited for Batwoman next week! Also All Star Western should be really good.

OK, so I'm going to give swamp thing a try. I'll probably pick up Suicide Squad too, the core members that you mentioned, were they the CURRENT core or the old core?

Read Suicide Squad at your own risk, it's written by a complete nincompoop. Better yet, screw it and stick with Swamp Thing.

Yeah, the new Squad book looks kinda grim. Those characters are the old series core. Though Deadshot is still in it.

I suggest reading Men of War, it's a unique take on seeing the DCnU from the point of view of a solider.
Also everyone should be reading Justice League International and Detective Comics, but be warned Detective doesn't shy away from violence and some gore.

I wanna check out Red Hood and the Outlaws definitely, and maaaaybe the new Teen Titans if only because I lovelovelove Cassie's new design (and Kon's is just hilarious, but I kind of like it anyways?) but other than that I'm kind of ticked off at DC right now, for all of their recent stupidity regarding minority characters and creators. Eh, and I'm more of a Marvel fan anyways.
