I will don't worry. I love how it looks right now. It looks all rough and crappy but what you can't see is the clear about an inch thick layer of resin that makes it smooth and beautiful :3

speaking of pictures. Here is the first one after the first layer of paint. I don't think I need to sand anymore, I think it is pretty smooth and what little lumps it does have kinda looks like battle damage/hammer used to make the armor.

bought the last fabric i need today! stuff for god tier!jane's pants, hood and leg wraps. i'll probably get started on those next week.

my other three costumes are mostly done, i just need to buy a couple things (suspenders, white fedora, fake moustache) and make armsocks/learn how to apply mehron. whoo!!

just ordered a wig that should work for both femzee and jade. also got a wig for kyoko. crossing fingers and hoping for the best!

making mad progress on fionna. hat is done, and i've got the cake cape almost finished. hopefully i'll be able to get the backpack done today. still looking for good socks...any suggestions on whether i should just buy socks with three stripes? or try to make my own...can't decide.

and does anyone know where to get faygo in washington? i've looked, but can't find it anywhere.

I've been painting a red hard hat yellow and I can't figure out is why when I spray paint something and let it dry then put on another coat that it gets all crackly looking. now I have to sand it all down, put on a white primer then hope when i put the yellow back on it don't crack.

But here is my tool box for my Fem Engineer. It was a metal lunch box that I painted red.

Need to do a little touch up around the numbers and that red spot on the 4

my brain changed its mind 4 days ago, so im shifting to a new cosplay.
apparently, it's INSANE for people to change to a much HARDER cosplay in such short time-- not to mention most of it is armor and a good belly...

this is the left lower shin one.

i need some good 4-6 hours more to finish this completely before moving to the next shin. once the legs are done im sure i can rest easy with my insane black rock shooter =w=''

Started making my Pokeguns for my Ash Ketchum and Vash the Stampede crossover. I just got a wild notion last night about an extra Vash gun I had drawn out on foam from last year. So I decided to make a couple with some pokeballs as the guns cylinder. Gonna let the poke balls glue to dry then I will get some resin on them this afternoon and hopfully get them painted tomorrow night. These should be fun!!

I was finally able to go to Goodwill yesterday, and LUCKILY I found a headset with a mic that I'll use for Scout's earpiece. I also found a baseball for a dollar, to complete with the bat I have. Then I got to buying some orange paint and glue at Walmart for a cheap price. Once I get home from my cousin's house tomorrow/the next day, I'm immediately going back to work on my cosplay.

I just finished spray painting the back of my armor and the guard of my sword. That should be the last of the spray painting. I should only need to do weathering and the sword and armor are done. That would just leave painting the scales and ears and Darc is done. I'm so happy to almost have it all done :3

ordered wigs for femzee, jade, and kyoko. located the perfect wig for fionna...

finished the cake cape, and almost finished backpack for fionna...

may have found shorts that can work for both femzee and kyoko!

Got the tinting on my Desert Punk faceplate. I think it looks terrible cause I had to put film tinting on a very curved surface so it's not smooth. But from a distance it's not that bad. If I have enough time I'm gonna sand off the paint from the resirator and fill in all the dents with foam coat and repaint. I was in a bit of a hurry when I made that part I think. This cosplay still has a lot of work left to do. I just hope it gets done in time. The only problem with this thing is that it is very suffocating. I also think I need to dirll in some air holes around the top cause it fogs up a bit.

Alright! Progress time! Kuranosuke is 95% done. All I have to do is sew the last of the beading on and sew bloomers. I also got the contacts for my costumes! And I dyed the fabric for my secret cosplay. The first time it came out of the dryer it was too dark, so I did another short wash with some rit color remover and now it's perfect. <3 Here's pics of everything except the secret fabric:

Finally got to working on my earpiece. Last night, I paper mache'd part of a can, then painted most of it today. Later, I'm going to put another coat, then try to put it together with another headset I already have (if it doesn't work out, I'm going to go to another thrift store later this week or next week and find another one.)

Are you making the boots or are you making boot covers?

My progress- It wasn't so much my progress as it was my Demony, BUT I'm making the costumes so it was overall progress!
We went fabric shopping and got what we needed for her dress bodice. 8D I'm sooo excited!

I did a makeup test for Anti-Cosmo but none of the pics turned out well. At least I know what I'm doing. I painted my ears as well so they will match the color of my skin.

I need to go to Joann's sometime to get fabric for Iceking and blue dye for A-Cosmo. All of da blue things!!!

neither ! I got the boots back in march but they were the wrong color so i painted them to match the boots!

Starting painting and constructing my bullets for my bandoleir (sp?) Yesterday. I decided to try using chalk sticks. They're the perfect size, and super thick so the paint hasn't really disformed them or anything. Once I get the finishing touches done on them, I'm going to glaze them with the glaze I use for my clay stuff. Hopefully that'll make them a little more plastic looking. (Of course ima try it out on the chalk first to make sure it doesn't eat away at it or something.)

Sasha is coming along nicely. I've got all the newspaper I need, I just need glue now. Then I can start paper mache, and then I can paint her.

My other cosplays are pretty much closet cosplays so I dun have to work on them as hard. I was thinking of changing my day two cosplay to a fem!joker, but now that I dun have any money, I'm thinking about doing that one for NewCon when ill have more money. So back to my pokemon trainer for day two lol which is coming along perfectly. Been making my pokeballs (crocheting them) and they're nice and easy to attach to my belt with velcro dots.

My panda cosplay is already done lol I own a panda costume so it looks out all nice and dandy there.

My secret cosplay has changed to be the same as my Ball cosplay, so its not really a secret anymore lol Ima be a Soot Sprite

from Spirited Away. I'm crocheting myself a star purse to put little tiny stars in (for the star marshmellow treats).

Lol I have a lot of crocheting to do in the next couple of weeks.

Yesterday, I finished painting my bat for Scout!! Then, for a shiny, metal look, I lightly painted on glaze that I had for other projects. I thought it would ruin the paint, but it only made it look darker in some areas. It turned out very nice though!

(Taken with my iPod on my bed...It's a long bat xD I still need to get some scrap fabric for the wrapping, then I'm complete :T)

Either tomorrow or Friday, I'll be shopping for the rest of the apparel I need.

got my symbol ironed onto the shirt on saturday, and have begun working on the skirt. now all thats left is to finish the skirt, find some pink socks (~~why are the perfect pink socks so hard to find they should not be this hard to find~~), buy some felt, and make the head accessories

~~and possibly buy new black lipstick and make a stuffed animal but that probly wont happen~~
