My armor is finally done. I just need to find a way to attach it more securely to the dress and that part should be done and I can finish the sword, make the arm warmers and finish up the boots and Deed is done.

I'm quite happy with it since it started out as this

O.O Oooh it looks awsome Nikki!

I got the fabric for the petticoat. I had issues in wondering if organza would work for the skirt... So I ended up buying 2 different colors of tulle to do 2 layers of them, and for the last tier I'll take apart the old petticoat and use that fabric.

Thanks :3 I'm super excited to get everything done. That costume is so close. Rinoa is just a little bit of silver paint on the weapon and she is done, and I have just a little work left with Date.

Squall's outfit came today. I think it looks good but probably needs some modifications. Waiting on the wig before I do my eyebrows and put on the scar, to see how it all looks together.

I got Ciel and Richea's shoes today at goodwill

And some more spray paint for Ciel's cane...

I still have to attach the buckle things to Ciel's shoes, and put some elastic on Richea's shoes (my high arches make me walk out of them, but they fit otherwise).

Maiku, I think it's pretty good. Though just b/c I can't see anything in the pictures doesn't mean there are some things that need to be done that can be seen in person. I say do whatever you feel is needed.

As for me, I've mainly been working on my original steampunk Cheshire Cat. The mask is done!

I just spent the last two hours learning how to do a French seam.... Supposing the tutorial named it correctly.
Also spent a while today messing with dyes and the satin that was going to be the trim. Vinegar and the dye, yes, both dyes together no-no... *hangs head shamefully* I didn't think about the chemicals in the dye when I mixed them into the same bath. I now have kelp colored trim (green and brown randomly in places) with a gradient from brown to a nice lovely pink.... I'll be making a new set of trim tomorrow with more dye.

I swear, if I have to go to JoAnn's on Saturday for anything I will refuse.

So I've been working quite a bit on my steampunk Cheshire Cat....I started ears, and have been working on my trench vest and spine/tail attachment.

Since I can't do much on my cosplays yet (is waiting for the materials to arrive), I started working on making a Ragnarok (Soul Eater) doll for my little sister since she'll be cosplaying as the child Crona.

I am currently finishing up the head and will then move onto the body.

I just got notified that my new lab coat(had to order an XS since the S was too big. I hate cosplay stuff that's too big for me. >.>) and my Shinra wig were shipped out today! I hope my wig comes by v-day. XD I Want to cosplay Shinra to school that day. Why, because I can, and it's not like I've got anyone to impress that day so I'll just cosplay Shinra. XD

And I'm all preregistered for K-con and got my hotel booked, so aside from other cosplay stuff(I might add Austria to my list of possible cosplays, because I love Austria so much, and I play piano. ^^)

But yep! Just gotta wait for everything to show up.

@neko: Yeah it's cool, but I still need to rinse it more. And it's not even the right green...

I have to rinse all that out when I get done dying the fabric now. I used teal and it came out a serious blue shade XD I can't win. But the blue's pretty and will work, so I won't mess with it. I just have to dye the part pink and rinse that and let it all dry, and then vinegar bath it.

I got the magnets I need to attach my swords. Unfortunately I think I got some that are too strong. I can't separate them XD. When I get home I am going to see if I can use all four of them and attach one to each of my sets of sword and the other two on the inside of the jacket. If that wont work then I can just use the ones attached to my swords and use my studded belt to attach the swords.

Most of the dying for the trim is done. And I got the stuff to start making the hoop-skirt. Just waiting on the boning to come in ^^

I finished painting Deed's sword and I attached it to the belt. I only have one thing left to do for all my Sakuracon cosplays

Deed I need to make the arm warmers (will take an hour tops)
Date I need to add the white trim to the jacket
Rinoa I need to add some silver paint to the edges of the weapon and attach some elastic to it to attach it to my arm. I suppose I could do the last now since I have elastic.

I dunno. Lack of a sewing machine, let alone a nice pattern, makes me not want to work on it. xD

Hi everyone!
I'm mainly working on getting a Tavros Nitram cosplay together (Homestuck) at the moment. This is gonna be like the first cosplay where I'm actually making parts of it instead of just buying it straight off of ebay man I'm so ballin' ecstatic over this.
Today I bought all the ben nye creme I need for the makeup, plus tights for the armsocks as well as the ears. :'o
Tomorrow I plan to pick up as much as I can at Freddies as far as other makeup, glues, paints, etc go.

I'm reaaally excited to see this come together. ; u;
Especially since I have spent like the last 6+ hours looking up tutorials and stuff on just about everything.

I'm drying her hair clip right now, so pictures of that once I have painted and beaded it

Finished cutting my wig for my Eileen cosplay I'm doing at Sakuracon for the huge Regular Show group I'm a part of.... the wig I ordered came as a slightly different color than shown, so I'll need to dye it at some point, but that probably won't happen for a while. My actual glasses haven't come in yet, so I just threw some random red ones I had around on and the actual cosplay isn't done so enjoy my "sick robe."

I am going to make this face the whole day, photobomb tons of pictures, and talk about sea turtles while creeping on ~boogiepop~ as Rigby. OH MAN I'M SO EXCITEDDDD!
