Here is what I have so far on Rinoa. I want to get rid of the buttons on the black shirt. And I am still working on the weapon. Should be done by Feb.

I got around to ordering my Ciel cosplay (cause I'm a baby and dun wanna try making and butchering it myself) a few days ago. I also ordered the wig on Monday. And already got the cane in, but it needs a repaint job.
I also finally got around to ordering myself a new base for a new Roxas wig

making the pauldrons for Clare today. and probably going to work on the jewelrt for Canaan and the surprise cosplay. Clare's sword still needs to be worked on. most likely will be doing those things all day. progress pics soon.

I actually have a picture! Finally!

The lighting's pretty terrible, that wig's actually significantly darker in real life, but that's most of PB done. I am damn proud of that shirt.

They are already there. I bought it off someone on coscom.

I'm working on my chest armor today and I am not quite sure if I need to smooth it out more or not. Its getting close but I think the little bit of texture it has makes it look more like armor but not sure. What do you guys think?

I think it looks pretty good. The texture does make it seem a little more realistic.

Almost finished with one project and I'm going to start some new projects that will include using resin which I have never used before. Will resin "eat" styrofoam? And does anyone know of a good youtube vid or how to website for working with resin? Not just resin casts but covering with resin. Thanks

Hmmm I don't know. What I would suggest just to be safe would be to paper mache over the resin. If you can't afford some of the stuff I always use flour and water and it works just as well.

I am fixing up some things for Date. Right now I am repainting the armor black (since the chest and thigh plates are going to have to be black). I just barely had enough spray paint to do it all. I remade the jacket and the scarf. I still need to add the white bias tape to the jacket and its done. Next on the list for Date is....finish painting the details in the armor, touch up the swords a little, and chain mail and he should be done.

I'm still working on Deed's chest armor. Its just about ready.

For Riona I am taking the weapon to my parents house to paint it then I just need to add the silver detailing to the edge to make it look more like a blade and its done. And I still need to get a ribbon for her.

I am spending a lot of time watching part of the Sengoku Basara anime, looking at art books, and browsing online to study Kojuro's armor. I really want to try for what they have in the game, but I don't know that my braiding will look quite right. I'm gonna pick up EVA foam today, it's on sale, and possibly other craft foams. I need to make sample plates to see which I like the look of better and determine the base for my armor. Sometime, probably tomorrow, I'm gonna go sew Kojuro's pants, dye his socks, and probably modify his under kimono.

I'm also going to sew all of the cloth parts of Parn sometime tomorrow or Sunday. Get all my easy sewing out of the way and leave time for things that I'm not as good at (like armor), for props, and to take my time with Kojuro's jacket.

I'm not sure about swords for Kojuro yet though. Part of me wants to just make Date's broken sword (sense my Date (above poster) has Kojuro's sword from second season), but part of me also wants to make both swords just so I have them for solo pictures. I'll probably make them, but make the broken sword first (provided I have a Hanbei).

So I had a mind-fart when ordering my Roxas wig and I got a 613 forgetting how light that color is. Stupid swatch, fooled me! *stares at light punky wig* What the hell am I going to use that for now?

Yaaayy! <3 Got my Shinra tie a few days ago and got my lab coat today! ^^ It's a little big, but just the right length.(as in, where it falls at my knees)

I'm just waiting on my wig now, and I've recently come to have about 35$, so I need to go to Goodwill(Again, we just went yesterday) to get more greyish/green pants and possible a more greyish white button up.
I'm so picky when it comes to my cosplays. ^^ I'm thinking of just wearing my nice black shoes for Shinra, because I've not seen him wear any shoes other than his slippers. XD Oh, and I need new glasses since mine broke. -_-

I couldn't help but noticing what you said about Shinra's shoes. I plan to cosplay him at some point, so I've looked up reference pictures before. Here's one to help you with the shoes he wears, when he isn't in slippers.

Found my piles of satin to remake Richea's skirt. I still have to find out which of the piles is the most in-tact ^^
I also dug out the pattern @.@; It was folded so neatly, I almost didn't see it.

Well, I have everything for Shinra now, well, bought everything. I got new glasses and am now just waiting for my wig to get here. (Sometime early febuary it should come), but I don't know how pleased I am with my lab coat, it's a little too big. :/ OR makes me look bigger than I am. (I'm really thin, but my lab coat doesn't really help show that. XD Guess I'm just not used to buying X Smalls now.)

But, it'll have to do. I just need to iron it, maybe that'll help. ^^

My glasses I got for Shinra will work fine for William too.

Actually, I think all I need is another pair of pants for Shinra, more greyish green ones instead of black ones. ^^

So, besides the pants for Shinra, I should have everything I need for all my cosplays!

Next is working up money for hotel room and K-con ticket. ^^

Well, I got the wig I was going to wear with my Jellyfish dress, but... it's darker than I thought it was going to be. So I'm going to see if I can return it/exchange it for a blonde wig (I had bought a pink wig). I'm considering buying a wig on Cyperous instead, but they're expensive. ;_;

We've had this coat for ages.

And I just had to cut up one of my old wigs to get his hairstyle.

And I think my grey skinnies might work better with this outfit than the black ones.... now that I look again and see Izaya has grayish pants.

Oh and sorry for the bad quality pic. XD It was the best I could get by myself in my mirror without flash.(you can see my awesome reptile shelves in the bg though! X'D)
