Alright, so it's been a short while since I've posted and unfortunately Tira had to be dropped for wig complications, BUT, she will be started next year.
But keeping up to date this year, I've finished my Other Mother cosplay from Coraline, I just need to sew the bag and make the belts for Ramona from Scott Pilgrim, I have all the fabric I need for Sailor Moon's outfit I just need to sew it all, order the wig and make the little prop-y things she has everywhere. And Heather from Silent Hill 3.....I haven't started on at all. x D

But I am making some major progress on everything, I'm making my Tiara and moon's on my Sailor Moon outfit all out of .005" Brass sheets, so I'm excited they will actually be metal! :'D

Anywho, I've made it pretty far on cosplays. I hope I can get the rest done by Wonder NW~

EDIT: Oh! And I may possibly bring Flame Princess from Adventure time~!

Unfortunately two out of three of my sewing machines are shot, leaving me with my tiny portable one to work with. *sigh* I really hate using new machines, I'm so used to my older ones.
I haven't done much at all, I haven't had much time.
But this week I plan to finish Stocking's dress, I have all the pieces cut, they just need to be sewn together. I finished the bow for her hair and need to do the one for the dress. I'm going to search for some stockings for her and if I have no luck, I'll just have to make them d:
My Rolling Girl cosplay is complete, I just need to style my Len wig.
Panda Hero this version (http://static.zerochan.net/full/28/19/1000978.jpg) is just collecting pieces. I have the pants and belt, I just need the rest d:
And Mio is not near finished. I scrapped the skirt and will try again with a thicker material.
Casual Mio and God Tier Rose are on hold until I finish my other cosplays. DX

Went to salvation army on a whim the other day to look for cospay parts. turns out they were having a half-off sale.

Walked out of there with a fitting black coat, dress pants, and shiny black shoes for $35.

OK so last night I started making my Hat for my secret cosplay and afterward while laying in bed trying to figure out the steps in my head I came to the conclusion that it was going to suck making this hat. However, much to my suprise, I found a straw hat online this morning for only $5 that is the exact same shape as the hat that I'm making. So I thought why am I spending so much time trying to shape a large hat out of craft foam? I ordered the straw hat, gonna resin it then paint it. Tada!!!!!

i've mostly been planning stuff, since as of sakura-con i'm pretty broke. but i know at least two of my costumes for kumoricon (may do i third if time/money permit, who the heck knows) and i've got a pretty good plan for getting stuff done.

after the fiasco that was last year's attempt to make a leotard (my lack of sewing ability + difficult old machine = a hot mess), this year for mars i'm just going to buy one and modify it, so that should come together pretty quick. and i've already got a lot of the stuff i need to get started on the disciple (who i've swapped out dolorosa for) so i can get working on her, too.

I cut up my Riku wig (I plan to get a new one) and will be getting a bald cap to attach it too.

i went and bought a white tshirt and pattern transfer thing earlier at the craft store, and i ordered my wig earlier this week

OK since I can't keep my mouth shut a few people know what my secret cosplay is. So I figured I would reveal it. I decided to cosplay Desert Punk because he is the worst kind of human being I've ever seen in an anime, and his outfit is so different. Can't wait till this starts coming together and I can get some pictures.

Vash 100% (recycled)
Wolfwood 100% (recycled)
Fem Engineer 80%
Desert Punk 20%

Still need to find a Tac Vest and some matching clothes for Desert Punk. Got the materials for everything else. Resin takes a long time to work with.

Fem Engineer outfit is done. Need to find tool box, tool belt, and make a large wrench. Probably out of foam.

Now I'm questioning whether or not to go as Ringo from Okamisan and Her Seven Companians. I have a left over costume that fits it perfectly and I doubt I'd have to get a wig since she has red hair and I've got strawberry blonde. Descions descions, any opinions? Also would anyone who has bought something off of Milanoo give me some reviews? I was looking at some things on it but need some more reviews and whatnot, it would be really helpful.

I've actually contacted them via email they do have them. {Ganna buy from these same people when the time comes} Theyre not exactly the ones shown because they changed the paint formula and the color to better match her Teal. just email them saying your interested in Neptune heels and she'll ask you to sewnd your shoe size and they'll send you an invoice. ^^

Started painting my Desert Punk respirator last night. Tonight I see if I can drill through my face plate without shattering the acrylic. Got a large piece of scrap that was cut out of the back side of my helmet that I will try out first tonight. If I can get through it without cracking it then I'm good to go for drilling in the real thing. Wish me luck.

Decided against doing Okamisan and am now doing Aipom gijinka, but not sure how I'm going to make the ears and tail (amazon? friends who will sew it for me?) don't know but need to figure it out soon.
