Ive been working on my Mephisto Cosplay ! I'm doing his outfit during chapter 17 ( believe ) c: ~
and Ive aquired shoes , pants , coat , gloves , and material for cravat. Im just waiting on the red shirt to come in by next week ~~
im working on his school brooch and belt buckle . Hngg.

Oy vey.... I haven't seen any new anime that "inspires" me to make a new cosplay, so instead I've been sewing home decoration (curtains, re-upholstering the couch) instead.

I might just do Sophia from "Last Exile - Fam" (this is her "newer"/"captain" outfit rather than her "2nd mate" outfit from first Last Exile series). OR, I may do the main character from Moretzu Pirates...or a Lolita. Decisions, decisions... bah, we've got more than a month - PLENTY of time.

Ordered my lab coat and gloves for GLaDOS. When they come in, the only thing left will be to mod the coat (painting "Aperature" and the logo on the back) and find a black shirt to wear under it. She's almost done 8D

Trying to remember what that spray foam is that you can spray then sculpt, because I want to make the harpoon out of that.

Super excited! I got pretty much all my cosplays done, I just have to figure out if I want a new, smaller blazer for Death the Kid and I need new pants. XD I totally forgot about that until yesterday.
Ciel's good enough to be counted as finished since i'm just doing him for Day 0 with my sister as Sebastian.
Ronald Knox is finally done since I FINALLY got new shoes for him!
I got four pairs of shoes from Value Village for 23$ so I'm pretty happy!
I'm not cosplaying these two, but I told my older sis and my best friend if they'll cosplay Liz and Patty Thompson for me, I'll buy them the outfit. =) My older sis bought me my Ciel wig under the condition that I have to cosplay him for at least a bit. I bought the outfit for Ciel, so I bought her a wig for Liz and she bought the outfit.
But for my best friend, I bought her the wig, shirt, and shorts(and we find all the clothes for our cosplays from thrift stores pretty much) and boots.
Once the wigs come(they shipped out the same day I ordered them, so hopefully they'll be here next week), we're going EVERYWHERE as Kid, Liz, and Patty!!

But what I came here to show everyone was that for the Kumoricon Ball, I made a Formal Death the Kid cosplay and I finished that, so here it is(Oh, and like all the animal enclosures in the back ground? LOL!):

Bought the mask at a store in the mall, the shirt, vest, and pants(Which you can't see, but they're silky, black, and shiny!) at Goodwill and shoes(also not shown) from Value Village.

I made this with sliky dark red fabric, black lace, metallic coloured Fimo for the Lord Death face, hot glue, and a couple pins. One to keep the Lord Death face on the scarf and one to keep the scarf on my shirt. I used hotglue to help get the ruffle effect I wanted since just using a gather stitch wasn't working for me.

still a bit to go on her but i finished the horns, got the wig and started some preliminary makeup tests. i need to order better lipstick, and on sunday i'm getting the stuff for her shirt! i also made a whip since i love props so much. it was funny, when i first got the wig and stuff i was worrying about how young it made me look...and then i remembered she's like 13 so that's actually a good thing. whoops.

i've got her skirt and shoes and i have the socks although i need to paint stripes on them. so by next week all i'll need to worry about is grey makeup, and for that i'm still digging through recommendations to figure out which kind if want to use. i'm leaning towards kryolan right now??

Sollux wig is styled, and my horns are attached! You can't even tell how, too, it's great! I used two inch thick insulation sheeting on the inside, with those blue screw caps inside the foam. The sanded that, glued the screw cap in, and covered them with model magic. Sanded, painted, and sealed! yay! My wig for my Jinora (Avatar: Legend of Korra) came in today!!! It's a tad darker than I thought it'd be, but I'm absolutely in love wit hthe cut and the bun attachment, so I'm alright with this. I just need to style the bangs, and fix the hair so it scoops into my face more. I likely won't have the outfit done until Akicon since I work slowly, but once I have it I'll likely be wearing it to multiple cons in the future. I'm so stoked to finally do an Avatar related cosplay! =D

Well, after not sewing for a while I sewed some stuff today. In the process of doing the bustle/butt-bow for Kuranosuke, hopefully I'll have that done sometime soon. I'll post pics once it's done. I made the necklace I'm going to wear also, so I'll post that when I finish the bustle. Still need to make the rest of the accessories and matching bloomers so I'm not flashing everyone all the time, But Kuranosuke is almost done!

Also, washed the fabric for my secret cosplay, hopefully this weekend I'll be able to dye it. :3

Almost done with my kid Loki hoodie. Still have to attach the green bands to the sleeves, attach the yellow circle and sew the gold lining on the bottom. Unfortunately I won't get to work on it until August, and then I have to jump straight into my Lady Loki costume. I'll be doing a lot of last minute stuff.

10th doctor cosplay is completely complete. I will have to take pictures at TnT to show you guys. Gokaiger cosplay is...95%? Need Mobirates (ugh, expensive), and to add a few more layers of gold paint to the jacket, but it is wearable now. Org!Riku is done. I'll be making myself a plushie heartless though, because the Keyblade is too big to fit in our luggage, and therefore cannot be taken on the plane >.<.

Getting my material list together for Ward's Harpoon.

I'm planning to get a PVC pipe, put expanding foam on it, which I will then sculpt before coating. The coating is where I am currently stuck. I already have Mod Podge, which I have used for coating craft foam in the past. Fiberglass resin has been suggested for coating also. Anyone have any advice on which direction I should go? Fiberglass resin or Mod Podge - whichever works better for coating expanding (insulation) foam.

Yesterday I finished both the wings for my boyfriend's Fluttershy cosplay and my Tardis outfit!

The dress for my Tardis is my prom dress from last spring. The wig a Nia wig from a few years ago and a hat which I just made yesterday and I'm hoping to get a light to put in it. (:

Got the first coat of paint on my Fem Eng tool box last night. Gonna put on one more coat then put in the details. I found a bunch of stuff at the goodwill to finish off my Fem Eng cosplay. Just need to get it all together this weekend.

I found an awesome Tac Vest at Aloha surplus for my Desert punk cosplay. I think that I will actually finish it. Totally excited about it. Just worried about feeling claustrophobic inside the face plate.

i finally got to buy a shirt and shorts (might wear a skirt incase the shorts don't work out well o_O; ) at Goodwill yesterday! I still need to buy shoes and stuff to make my headgear/earpiece. I want to make the earpiece out of one of my headphones and paper mache, then paint it. For my bat, i bought a regular plastic one for a quarter at a garage sale. Hopefully I'll be able to buy metallic spray paint for it.

My dress arrived yesterday. When I put it on, it was about a size too small on me. If i can lose weight by Kumoricon, the cosplay will luckily work out. I also ordered my wig a week or two ago, so it should arrive next week.

Doing a last-minute Bane cosplay for the midnight showing of TDKR tomorrow. So, got a bunch of rubber sheeting for the base, and I just need to see if I can actually make this work. Won't be accurate by a long shot, but I'll get as close as I can with a day to do it.
