It was great seeing all the Bleach characters this year. I will probably Cosplaying Bleach again next year. I cosplayed Hisagi this year next year I'll probably be Hisagi or cosplay someone else. Anyone else planning to cosplay Bleach next year?

Photo shoot will be at Day 1 at 5PM

I've been thinking about trimming my Rukia wig a bit, to go with the Time Skip one in the manga, But I'm not sure if I wanna do a Shinigami outfit Lieutenant Rukia, perhaps if something new shows up in the manga I'll be inspired.

If I can swing KumoriCon after Star Wars Celebration VI, I might wear my Sajin Komamura outfit, seeing as there's no way in heck I'll be able to afford to put together a new outfit for it. I've still got a few other non-anime cosplay outfits to finish. >>;;

so my roommate and i have decided to do a sort of punk/street version of soi fon and nanao for the nighttime things (like dances/18+ panels/ect). wondering if anyone else would like to join us

would be fun to have others.

If I can go I'll be doing Hitsugaya Toshiro Timeskip. It'll be good cause I'm in middle school, so I'll look short compared to you guys XD I'll be there with a Rainbow Dash fursuiter keep an eye out for me

Well, Sui Fong already knows about this (From the captain's panel) but I'll be cosplaying the pre-time skip Hitsugaya and I'll have a very in-character Matsumoto with me. This is my second time cosplaying Hitsugaya at a con and I'm working on making a temporary, to scale, Hyourinmaru.

I'm hoping for one of the days of Kumoricon to wear my Time-skip!Rukia, and I think I'll wear it one day of the days but it depends on the rest of my group on which one. I debuted it at Sakura-con this year, and I think it turned out awesome!(though need to make actual good gloves that don't die by velcro

) ~~I think I'll try to finish my Deviko for Kumoricon too, I just have to add the face and paws to it and it's done.~~ I'll be sure to bring my Umbrella Shirayuki with me :3

Just went and bought supplies last night so I could weave my own waraji sandals. I found a tutorial on it after searching eBay in vain.
Has anyone else ever tried making their own before? I hear they're fragile and uncomfortable, so I got some cheap flip-flops and plan to slice off the tread and glue the sandal down on it - here's hoping they turn out good!

Ebay does have some good sandals but you do need thicker socks but Uwajimaya's has nice thick ones for a good price

I've made my own waraji before,it was a few years ago but it's not too bad, the big thing is to just tie them really tight! And if you're doing it the weaving way, like I think you're doing just make it really tight there when weaving them! (it's the key to making some good ones in more ways than one). Making them tight will also make sure they don't fall apart. They can get tiring on the feet, but since you're doing the sandal way it shouldn't be too bad. Good luck on making them :3

ohhh i really want to go as nel soooo bad this year but i'm not sure yet if i'll have enough money. i've been in LOVE with nel and i really want to go as her. i literally just watched bleach just for nel -___- took forever to get to her part but IDK so lets hope i can go as her this year -__-

I played around with weaving a pair using paracord and it worked really well, but you'll need to tweak the weave length and width to fit you. It's comfortable though!

not noon, too close to lunch (and by that i mean it IS lunch lol) lets make it 1p sat or sunday works for me
i would reccomend that we make it the same day as the bleach captains panel tho (but not the same time of course)

If the time for the Bleach panel has been set, the most expedient course would be to hold the photoshoot directly after, and then anyone interested could congregate and proceed from there.

Making lots of progress! I just finished my hakama, so all I have left to do for Hitsugaya is weave the sandals and make the green sash for his sword. But while trying on the whole outfit to show my sister, I came to a realization about this cosplay that I hadn't considered before...

I am gonna be. SO. OVERHEATED.

If anyone sees a Hitsugaya passed out at con, please bring me some water.

@thedevilsnightmare: omg, I almost die every year. By the end of my bleach day I'm always like "I will never do soi fon again. Then right after the con I'm always like "I can't wait to do her again!" so if I see u passed out, I'll prolly first laugh, then bring u water.

Ok, in the interest of making the photoshoot at a time best fitting with the panel, it will be day 1 at 5pm. Lemme know if this doesn't work.
