(Repost) Hetalia World Meeting 2012

First! I am really sorry the repost! But some things came up with Chibiorochimaru and she has made the choosen to not run the world meeting this year. So because of this, we have made a new post so we don't have to bug her over and over again to update it. So with permission from her and KyoKyo866 I have copied the first post here to update it.

Yes, here it is....I mean hey the world is suppose to end in 2012 right? I think we need another World meeting then.
Sense we had to turn down almost 100 people who waited in line (I'm very sorry about that to everyone who did get turned away) We did tape it for you to see.

THINGS TO REMEMBER/THINK ABOUT WHEN JOINING THIS PANEL
This may be a filmed event: Not every one likes their picture taken or likes to be filmed and have it up on the internet! Please remember this once you sign up if you don't like the idea of our face out there on the internet.
Getting the OK for the panel: Not every panel gets aproved! So! The second day panel may not be aproved! (or can the first day) if this is the case we will most likely use the list the day is set on. (like if we have a day one panel we will use the day 1 list)
Be on time
if you have signed up to be a country, you must do your best to show up! Last year allmost half of the people last year didn't show up. Its very fustrating for the people who run the panel. Now we understand if something comes up. But by agreeing to "join" is that you are 80% sure that you will show up. I recomend getting there 30-20 mins befor it starts. (I got there an hour early last year.)
We will have a check list of all the usernames with their characters. if you do not show up, we WILL NOT LOOK FOR YOU. We had to do this last year.

Alright, Lets get this panel figured out early, Sadly though we won't be having an 18+ one again because of what happened at this one. Several con rules were broken and it was a bit of a mess as a panel, so bad in-fact me and one of the others leading the panel went around apologizing for some of the cosplayers that were there.
I do want to say thank you though to everyone who did help in this last world meeting. You all did great <3 <3 <3

On a happier note though, I'd love to hear from people intrested in being in this next years panel. I mean its never to early to start on next year~

this is going to be much diffrent from the last two years, and we decided on no more then ONE of each Nation, As always its first come first serve.

Out in the park on the other side of the hilton, there is a large clock tower with large salmon around it. On day 1, meet at that clock tower at 7, Sam will be there to get you at 7:30. On Day 2 meet there 3:30, Sam will get you at 4:00 pm.

After all that has happen and stuff I do really want to go to this agian i enjoyed it and stuff. if you guys like I am bring my amp and mic that i had left over from my old band  I can bring it for you guys to use. for the pannel to make it easer on your voices I will state dont get to clsoe to the arm with the mic >< or ears will hurt i ll test it out when i get home and make sure it still works i  now it dose but my siblings been around my things so i never now i hope that helps i can bring it early for you guys . I trust you well enought even if i dont get in You guys will retune it I spent alot of money on that.

so I looked at the pictures for the area. And really that room is probably the largest other then main events/live events room.

Perhaps maybe if panel 2/3 where combined. But it looks like it would only be about the size of the workshop. After using paint to compare it might be a smidgen bigger then the workshop. But not by all that much.

Id suggest just talking to the person in charge first. Few problems with asking Todd to join us would be.

1. Hetalia lovers are a riley and rambunctious bunch. There is very few ways to calm.
2. I would assume that some people would expect him to do signing as well during any panels. Which would bring problems in clearing the room.
3. This would need to be arranged with Todd, the person who is taking care of him during the con, and the panel people. So you would want to get talking to the people and finding out if its manageable.


I would suggest if you intending to do this, that you also consider inviting people other then just the voices if anyone else attends.

On a random I had a thought on a topic 'the Future of hetalia, what people think will happen' this could be a long sort of topic that could split into different discussions.
