Don't I have a life?

On the Sailor Moon threads there have been talk about planing a Sailor Moon Marathon in celebration of the re-release
It would be ongoing, going to each others houses and watching a few of our favorite episodes.

ah how i can go on for hours about whats wrong in english compaired to jap and why they did what and..... yeah you get my point....

yes we must find someone and then ill steal my bfs compy for it.

also my new years resultion is to watch all 200 eps (cuz i dont own the specials) and the 3 movies at least one a day =D

I'm up for this (of course!) and I could probably it host sometimes too, if someone can bring the videos and there aren't too many people coming (though it doesn't look like we'd have more than six or seven, tops). For reference, I'm in North Portland, and it's fairly easy to get to my house via bus or MAX (if you can get to the Rose Quarter Transit Center, you can get to my house).

I'd be into this, but only if it's the original Japanese version! I streamed all of them some time ago, so I finally know what it's all about :3 I could even host a portion. I live downtown Portland, and our building has a little mini theater that seats maybe 10-15 people

What's being re-released?? I thought I caught wind of the manga being re-released, but I didn't think the anime was... I'd be TOTALLY stoked if that were the case!

I heard a rumor Funamation was talking about dubbing all the seasons (including stars)

Even though everyone hates the English dub with a passion, I do have a little friend, she's starting school soon! She loves Sailor Moon but can't read subtitles yet and it would be great to invite her one time (probably at my house)

Tsuki, so far it's just the manga being rereleased, although as Wrath said there is talk of Funimation redubbing.

I hate the dub as much as anyone, but if it were to make a little Sailor Moon-loving kid happy, I could sit through it.

^*dances around to them even when its not on the tv* ..... i personaly do NOT want them redubbing it.... mainly cuz i KNOW they would use vic..... ug a good tux mask he would NOT make..... but i think tara strong would be a good usa....

Can, yes, for awhile. Like to, no.

When I watch anime, I like to see what's going on, and not miss out while reading something. Also, some subtitles are so terribly done that I can't understand what's being said at times. Also, reading that much from a screen can sometimes hurt my eyes. A few episodes aren't too bad, but enough of them and it starts to bother me.

Reading subtitles I'm alright with.

Now when it comes to checking my score and at the same time focusing on which notes to play in Guitar Hero games...that I can't do.

So I just play and then look when I get an opening.

BTW, I've also got a copy of the RPG book to roll dice with when anyone wants to take breaks from watching.

I have the first season, although it's a torrented fansub, so the quality isn't spectacular. This would also just be subtitled (I don't have any dubs).

The 19thth would work for me, but the 20th only if it can be done in the afternoon/early evening.
From noon to 5 on Sunday I have another event that requires my appearance. Unless the time hasn't been discussed or decided yet, what time would this start and approximately end?

Also who's place is this being held at again? If I can get a street address on here or in PM I can see if the bus could get me there and how.

I'm not sure of the times yet,
I wouldn't mind holding it at my house (if my parents approve) although that would me we would have to clean up a bit >.>
And I live in North Portland in the Jefferson school district.

And I got no school that monday because the whole week if off for conferences and thanksgiving.

...not really, we get a whole week of for Thanksgiving, always have. It's just at the end of the week this year, so it seems early.

Sunday is probably the best this week for me, too. Saturdays in general are better though, since I'd have to be home earlier on Sundays because of school in the morning.

I can hold some at my house, but probably not the first one, since I haven't met all of you yet, and I doubt my parents would want me bringing complete strangers in. I live pretty close to Wrath, so her house works fine for me.

Understandable. And Lombard TC works for me since I've been past that way more times than I can count. I'd have to go back downtown on the 12 then snag the 4 or yellow line. I'll probably be wearing my Amtgard cosplay since that's where I'd be coming straight from. I'm aiming to be at the TC around 5, so look for a guy with a pirate flag and a small cart full of stuff.

Seriously? The most I've ever gotten was from Wednesday to Friday, often times the Wednesday was only a half day.

also from the TC you can just hop on either the 6 or 75 to lombard and vancouver then we can grab you
We do have Conferences which is usually two days off of school
