Volunteer for setup and teardown (esp. DURING the rant and rave, I noticed that a lot of people were VERY BUSY during that meeting).
Also any help during the rest of the year i would be glad to participate. I reittereate my "not staff" reasoning. I want to do everything I can for the convention when the con is not actually happening.

Don't forget to come to the October 9th General meeting. 12:30 to 4:30 p.m at the US Bank Room in the Central Library. This is the perfect time to meet up with the new directors as they are elected and let them know the position you want.

I will pass all of your names a long to whomever is the Staff/Volunteer Coordinator next year. (I'm getting married around the same time which would make it difficult for me to continue this position.)

I'd be interested in running an anime music song identification game ("name that tune"), if Kumoricon wants to add such a panel, since I'm not aware of Kumoricon having one yet.

I've attended such panels at Sakuracon and Anime Evolution (where I even won in a couple categories), and I'm passionate about anime music, so I thought it'd be cool to run or help run one. ^_^

Would it be a good idea for me to go to the Oct. 9 general meeting for this? (I live in Seattle, but I can make it on Oct. 9 if it would help.)

Hi Jeff. Yes, it would be a good idea to attend the general meeting if possible in order to pitch your ideas to the future Programming Director and to try to get a panelist spot if you were hoping to run the event. I'm sure you'd be a shoo-in. I hope we'll see you there!
