The International School of Beaverton is hosting it's first-annual Bunkasai, a Japanese Cultural festival on the evening of Friday, February 3rd!
There'll be live demonstrations and performances, food, vendors, games, and even a cosplay contest*! Some other interesting activities include kingyo sukui (goldfish catching), a kimono dressup and photobooth, an anime first episode theater, and a raffle with a grand prize of a Nintendo Wii! There'll be activities for all ages so please come down, invite your friends and family, and join us for an awesome evening!
*The Cosplay contest will be a walk-on contest with a prize (tentatively $50 first place and $25 second 
), winners announced at the end of the festival. Regarding props, please do not bring functional, metal-bladed, or realistic weapons, or prop guns of any kind. Cosplays from Japanese media are encouraged.
