Hi! I have a question about badges and pre-reg, but I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask. If it isn't, could someone please re-direct me?
Alright, so my question is, my friend, Robyn Lawrence, ordered her badge some time ago, though she didn't have a lot of money on her credit card at the time. I've heard that it's possible she may not get her badge? Could someone in Badges and registration answer this question for me, or check, somehow, to see if her badge has been ordered?
Also, I have another question concerning pre-reg. I want to go to pre-reg in cosplay, but my costume involves different glasses, body and face paint, and a wig. Will the people at pre-reg be able to recognize me enough to let me into the convention, or should I put on my costume after pre-reg?

But from what I can tell you, you should email them about your friend, and as long as you have some ID on you when going to pre-reg, you should be fine, people never had problems with it before.

In other news regarding this thread, I just ordered my badge two days ago!

@ nikkiolie: We just did a mail out last weekend and and it should have been in that batch (we're caught up to orders on or before July 4th) so keep a look out for it.

soo my gf has two badges now.... I bought a badge for my gf as a surprise. When she got her badge in the mail she called me and told me she received two badges, apereantly her friend in seattle also ordered a badge for her way back before I did and now she's stuck with two and we dont know what to do with them and me well I feel like my money went to waste :/

is there a way to get a refund for the one I ordered? So she can keep the one her friend got for her? or is she stuck with two badges with her name on it? And me $40 poorer

I was told a couple months ago that me and my sister's minour badges(she was sent an 18+ one too,) would be here in 3-4 weeks. Well, 2 months later(well, close to that) and it's not here. >< I don't know if we'll get them or not by then, but I was told that we can still get in granted we have our permission slips.

I'm even going to print out that e-mail incase the people at preregister don't agree with the fact I've got an adult badge. xD....even though I'm a minor.
(Not that I would abuse the fact I had an adult badge,-- I'd stay out of the 18+ stuff

))

I just hope that those minor badges will show up. =/

If worse comes to worse, they can set it up at will-call for you, which isn't -too- much of a longer line(and I remember when I went on Day zero and went to will call unlike all my friends, I was first in line while they had around 10 people or so.. but that may have just been me having good timing

). If you're worried about it, you should email them and make sure they did send it and when.

I'm sorry! E-mail us again with the names on the badges and I can see if they were sent back to us! We can have the right badge waiting for you to swap out at-con.

im hoping to check the mail this week and see it there, if anything I will bring my receipt from april 15th to prove I paid for it and didnt get it. Im hoping its in that box, its unfortunate all these problems happened, but at least i have an updated ID card from the state now so I dont need to worry about being denied.
