Diablo III
« on: May 16, 2012, 07:30:38 pm »
Well folks it's official Diablo III, one of Blizzard's newest and most anticipated titles is out. I just got word today from Amazon.com  that a copy of the Collector's Edition that I ordered has been shipped and I'm VERY excited about it. In the days and months to come I've created this thread where we can talk about Diablo III what works, what doesn't, etc. Anyone who wants to make a critique on it here is welcome to. All opinions shall be respected. So now it's time to chew bubble gum and kick some hell spawn butt, and we're all out of bubble gum!

As soon as I've had a chance to play it I''ll offer up m,y opinions but as I said feel free to offer up yours in the meantime.

Without any further ado...let's go!

My copy of Diablo III Colector's edition arrived earlier than expected. I've played it and...thus far it's twiisted, gross, and disgusting...AND I LOVE IT!!! My Monmk Kane is kicking butt and taking names. I'm giving Duiablo III a BIG thumbs up.

The only problem I have with it is getting the Battlenet account set up is a bit of a hassle but overall it's darn good fun.

Congratulations and being that I'm playinga  Monk named kane and i can say I heartily agree with you monks ARE a fun character. That whirlwind attack is espcially useful for wailing on one's enemies.

I have one of each character now, all female.

Kathura- Wizard- level 18- The Road to Alcarnus- 11 hrs 50 mins
Nevaeh- Monk- level 12- The Doomin Wortham- 4 hrs 50mins
Janizhkshr- Witch Doctor- level 10- Sword of the Stranger- 3 hrs 9 mins
Charolette- Demon Hunter- level 2- The Fallen Star- 8 mins 17 sec
Uhn- Barbarian- level 1- The Fallen Star- 0 seconds

UGH I'm still so annoyed with the server!!! With my highest level character, Kathura, I'm exploring the large dessert area that has many side quests. Stupidly, all those side quests are NOT checkpoints!!! Dx I've been disconnected THREE times now and have had to re-do it all!! It's getting really tiresome and annoying!!!

My laptop is apparently too "out of date" to play the game, even with some backdoors my boyfriend found to getting it to even run, it's so slow and I lag too much, I always die. So I've been reduced to playing only when I'm with my boyfriend, on his computer at his house. Sucks. Dx I can't wait till the game ages a bit more so people can start writing up online how to play with lowering the graphics.

Thanks Len-chan, and maybe sometime in the future if you and some of the othes would be willing to team, up with a  sometimes foolish older anime fan maybe you, me, and some Diablo fans here on the forums could do a Diablo III Co-op. How does that grab you?

I've never really had a reason to use the auction house. I prefer to just go with what I'm handed in the game.

I have an idea here folks. My Monk Jaden is coming to the end of the game. ANd i was thinking I'd liek to get a group from theforums together to do a co-op of the game...at Nightnmare level. Who here is up for that?
