I hired a commissioner. She showed me past works before asking me to agree to anything which made me happy. Then I looked..And omg....I Really hope that was her stuff lol It was amazing. And she's strapped for money so she's doing everything for really cheap just to ensure she can get a commission. I mean I know cheap prices seem bad when they are TOO cheap, but she is one of those collage "I need money and will basically do whatever I can to get a commission to make ANY money at all" type of person lol

yeah my friend Tidus she is doing that atm. She's making my Catherine outfit (and hopefully my secret cosplay) >.< I really really hope she has time for it ;~; cuz if not I have to get the one on ebay >3> which is still really good but having a friend make your costume is awesome cuz you can advertise her work, you know?

Also, I am always weary about those kind of commissioners, but then again, I have gotten pretty good quotes, and got good results sooo who knows?

I know I took a partial brake from cosplay last year, but I miss trying to do Namine. Even if I didn't have a wig and I was crappy. xD

That's what we ware saying lol She is NOT in KH1. And KH1.5 will be KH1 and COM so no she still won't technically be in kh1, she will be in the revamp of com

Well, even though I'm coming to the KH shoot as Kairi, I may also bring a Sora cosplay with me if I can finish it. I need to make some more money first, but if i can, then I'll also have him. Maybe for the Square stuff..But I DID start making a Kingdom Key Keyblade. Only got the handle put together (see the progress thread) but I will have it done in notime.

Kappa, I know the feeling lol Exactly the reason I sold the one I bought on ebay lol I'm also wanting Sora just on the off chance my Kairi commissioner takes too long (I paid like 2 weeks ago and she still hasn't started, getting worried, I may have to drop that cosplay). That way I least I HAVE a good KH cosplay.

Yes, but now i am on the painting part..I got some Plasti-dip for other reasons, but I remembered people use it on props..I asked on coscom and someone told me it should work without any further prep then I already had. However, I used it on the micky head to test it out and it litterally just ran right off the damn thing..Didn't stick for anything..Meaning that stuff is completely useless to when I needed it for..

Maybe the dip spray is kind of like spray-foam and it needs to cure over a few hours, so you could only do 1 side at a time... Still doesn't work when it's a round object, like the pvc pipe/wooden dowel.

Gesso is awsome though~ ^^
This is making me wanna touch up my keyblade but the original paint on it is like some weird metallic sparkly stuff. Like, seriously, sparkles are in it. I tried to touch it up with plain metallic and it shows in some lighting as spots on it, but in other lights it blends right in >:

Naw nowhere near. This stuff doesn't get any bigger in volume. It's suppose to create a rubber protective layer, but it can't do that if it doesn't stay on the stuff..I learned why though. I had painters tape on it because I needed to cover where you could see the layers of cardboard. It has to be a completely non smooth layer. Like the actual cardboard. Since tape creates a smooth layer that nothing can grab, it forces it to just come off.

On the topic of touching it up, I know what you mean. My last 2 Kingdom keys were both the same way as yours. They use special paint. You can just go over the entire thing. Get spraypaint and go over the whole area

Since Sora went to crap I fell back on Kairi. Then that fell cuz I have no close shoes, necklace or bracelets. However, I can now afford those things, so I will now 100% be Kairi top this

Thanks but no they won't fit. The ones I hour were too small. And they were womens 11. I'm gonna buy normal converse and paint them. I'm going Wal-Mart cheap and all they have are black and brown guitar guys, and those white ones in the pic for female. But the female ones didn't go bigger

I returned the white ones because they were too small and got mens shoes. These are "faded glory" brand converse that were black and I painted then purple with fabric paint.

Whenever I hosted the KH shoots, I never had a professional camera (or a camera sometimes lol)

So you should still be able to take charge! Also I can help you since my husband will be taking professional photos with our Nikon

And Saturday works for me as well since we will be around the area anyways.

It seems like attack on titan is around noon and that will be a BIG group and I'm sure they will take up most of the space and time for most cosplayers that day. Maybe doing it before the big commotion? like 11am. That's usually the time I picked whenever we had shoots for KH. Another time that is available is 5pm but that may not be a good time since a lot of people go and eat around that time for dinner. It seems a lot of the times are taken, but you can always pick another spot for the shoot. Also since the KH panel is from 1:30-3:30 any times between then may not be a good idea for you guys, cuz you may not have that many people. That is what happened even when we scheduled our shoot other bigger panels took away our crowd for the shoots.
