Meeting Report 7/18/13:
So it was Tala and I who discussed and threw some ideas down just to get the ball rolling.
Some of the listed activities we discussed were:
1: Demotivational game.
Now if we can not do this with the lack of time, we discussed doing a similar version of "Caption the Avatar" game. We would chose avatars off of the forums (ones that are NOT pictures of people. Ones that are characters, gifs, etc) and a group of people come up, have a time limit to write down a caption, panelist reads them off, panelists vote. Winner gets a prize.
2: Anime/Manga/Videogame ABC game:
-Choose 5 people from the audience
-They go down the line naming an anime/videogame/manga, in alphabetical order (example: One person says Ah my goddess, next person can say Black Butler, and so on)
-Whoever doesn't say something within a certain time limit (5 seconds, maybe) gets eliminated from the game.
-Whoever is the last one wins.
3: 3 word stories:
-Choose 5 people from the audience
-They go down the line creating a story containing 3 words.
-If someone says more then 3, or can't come up with 3 words within a time limit gets eliminated from the game.
-Whoever is the last one wins.
4: Question Conversation:
-Choose 2 people from the audience to play a round.
-Choose a scenario, and must go back and forth asking in only question form.
-Whoever lasts the longest, wins.
5: Meet and Greet:
-Towards the end of the panel. About 15 or 20 min.
6: Panelist Guessing Game:
-Match the avatar with the name, and can ask questions (still in the works)
7: Introductions
-Audience one by one goes around introducing themselves, saying their name or their forum name if they have one (after all, this is a Facebook and Forum meetup panel, so some many not have a forum account.)
8: Name the Meme (suggestion from a friend)
-Bring up internet meme photos and a list of the possible names for the meme, people guess.
If any of this does not make sense or if I am forgetting anything, I am very sorry, I wrote this when realllly tired, so I'll edit it in the morning.
