It's mainly because of Facebook and my age.
I know this will sound somewhat immature, but there are some members of my family that are unaware of my cross-playing, and I'd prefer to keep it that way. Some people keep tagging photos of me as Neptune, either Sailor form or casual, knowing good and well of my request.
The other deal, my age, is simply that it's more and more difficult to keep my face clean-shaven well enough to avoid the 5 o'clock shadow look before noon. This reason is also why I've been thinking about abandoning cross-playing overall, despite there still being some females that I would like to try, such as Lina Inverse from "The Slayers," Washu from "Tenchi Muyo," and Eiko Magami from "Project A-ko".
Oh, and I'm having a hard time finding one of the gloves and the neck-thing, I want to have the outfit modified so that it's a body suit and not a shirt, and I still need to order those shoes through Tranny. I might still do it, but if I do, it won't be for that often.
(Though to answer your question, Tomecko, I have thought about Sailor Pluto in her lab coat version and would consider doing ...what's his name?... the alien who played the flute and lived on a space tree).
