You can use the acrylic ink and 70% isopropyl alcohol method to dye the wig. It's very easy.

Just ordered my wig. Let's see how this goes.
Got the Magnum XL from Arda. Obviously I have to do some cutting, but all the other wigs are too thin and I'm not good enough to put more wefts in lol

Okay, so reflecting on my current plans, I probably will have no time in con(and at all) to be Silica in her ALO avatar like I want to this year. Next year(if I'm going) or maybe even next year's Sakura Con, most likely. But I will enjoy you guys' cosplay, though.

Still need:
-Finish my shoulder armor
-Boots
-Put the leg bands on the boot cuffs (already finished those)

no, he just means ALO Kiritos sword, thats the actual name for it.
So anyways, I will be coming as a fusion ALO/ Mothers Rosario Kirito, and Maybe SAO version too. Depends on whether i can afford a replacement for my Elucidator which broke at Sakuracon.

yeah, ive decided to lay off Aincrad version till the SAO fad is over too. Only till theres not 200 Aincrad versions per con though. Luckily im planning on doing every version of him, so ill have plenty to do while i wait. Which underworld version are you doing though? His clothes that he had on during Alicization beginning, or the swordsmanship academy uniform?

Haha. That's what I was thinking, too. I've only seen one Undine Asuna, and that was on the internet. I like how some versions of characters are more popular than others, so you can choose which one you want to do. Like, in my case, I've only seen a couple Silica cosplayers in her red outfit. I haven't seen any in her Cait Sith outfit. That's what helped me decide what I wanted to do. Besides the fact she's my favorite and she's really adorable~ ^_^"

I think I may be forcing my friend to dress as either Lyfa or Asuna (Queen Titana version) and I'll be wearing the other one. This would probably only be for around the photoshoot and maybe a private photoshoot (Azura, do you wanna join us? (: )

So i think its probably around time we start deciding what time and day and location to have for this shoot. This is my first time going to Kumoricon, so i dont know any of the areas. id say sunday at noon at for day and time though.

I would prefer Day 2, not sure what time yet. At this point, I don't even know if I'll be still able to do ALO Silica. I'll try though. Maybe minus the Pina. I was thinking of having a flower and a feather, but I realized it was the wrong outfit for that.

I have to say day 2 as well because that's when I plan on wearing my costume. And a good place would be around the tower or the stage area in the park. I can't say what time yet due to me hosting panels so I'll vote on that later :3

Also, I may or may not be able to cosplay this year, I have my wig, but I don't have the funds to make my costume due to my job not giving me enough hours...

Plans changed on this end as well.

Will now bet attending as SAO Kirito and bringing with me Asuna, Silica, Yui, Lizbeth and a possible Klein(he's real flippy floppy though).

Also, had the idea of doing a potluck/picnic at some point before or after the photo shoot was done with. It wouldn't be just SAO cosplayers, just fans all hanging out and having a nice lunch together or something? Dunno, my Asuna and I haven't really planned it out. We did it a few years back after a Pokemon photo shoot and brought chocolate cake and it was just nice and enjoyable hang out down time haha.

Random Fact:
Sword Art Online's starts on cartoon network next month, on Toonami
Natalie Hoover (animegurrl I think on here), a former Kumoricon attendee, went to LA to get into the voice acting biz,
and will be one of the voices on the English dubbing, voicing Yolko.

The park near the Hilton seems to be the most popular place for shoots. There's a clocktower within spitting distance of the Hilton that seems to be popular for photoshoots. We could have that as the meetup spot unless anyone has a better idea. Unless anyone has any objections, let's aim for 1 o clock at the clock tower on Sunday/Day 2? I'll make a post in the official photoshoot thread if everybody feels good about it.
