I would totally do that with you! is that the outfit you are planning on doing? thats one of my favorites. I was also thinking about going as a "pyon-alien" sometime.

just do it! ^_^ I didn't have much idea what I was doing when I did the solo job on my tenchi cosplay. although...I did use a sewing machine...o_o

I may get together with a friend to sew some cosplays stuff. and then there is a guild in portland that meets who could help you out.
