Rose City Comic Con 2013

Anybody else planning on going? It's Septemper 21-22 this year at the Portland Convention Center. Looks like it's going to have plenty of awesome art, and hopefully great cosplays too.
Speaking of cosplay, I'm thinking that since I already have a green wig for my female Zoro cosplay, I'm going to try a Polaris (from x-men) cosplay for this. I've also been thinking of doing Harley Quinn (from Batman). It could also be fun to do a lady Joker.
What are you all planning to cosplay, if you're going to cosplay?

I'd like to be Nightcrawler (X-Men) and I'll probably be Ice King with my Adventure Time group.

I attended Portland Comic Con and ECCC, and already have my tickets for this one, as well, to see Kaylee from Firefly, after whom I named my cat. Moreover I'm going to C2E2 in Chicago. Anyone been to any cons outside the Northwest?

It will depend on work, since I'll already be taking time off for Kumoricon, but I hope to be able to go all weekend ^^

My friends and I plan to do a Teen Titans group! So far we have Raven, Beast Boy, Starfire, Terra, and myself as Jinx. Some of my friends are still deciding who to be.

I was at the Comic Con today. Most of my time was spent at the Rebel Legion/501st Legion booth (I was the B-wing pilot in the red flightsuit and silver helmet).

It's been an interesting little convention so far, though there didn't seem to be much going on. I didn't hit any of the panels because I didn't see anything interesting, and there wasn't much else besides those. I didn't get any autographs, I couldn't afford any, though I would have liked to have gotten a couple. Nothing interesting in the vendors, either, unfortunately.

One thing that struck me as kind of odd was how few people were actually in costume. It surprised me that there weren't that many people actually in costume there. I mean, there were people in costume, but no where near the amount that I'm used to seeing at conventions. Not sure what was with that.

Not as much cosplay at comic book conventions, as opposed to anime ones.

I thought the convention was great!  Spending 8 hours on the dealer floor, and I could have spent a little more.
